We stayed here almost a year ago and had a great time. The resort is very relaxing, so so food...only one restuarant to choose from here and not a lot of choises. Great, friendly, helpfull staff. If you are looking for a place to relax and not really go anywhere then this is the place for you. We on the other hand like to go out and see the sites. This was difficult... Everytime we left the resort to go into town (16miles away) it coast us close to $16.00 ea way and sometimes it was more depending on how far you wanted to go. Our room was wonderful, top floor, adn becuz we were up so high, we could be at the ppol and watch the sun go down then hop in the elevator to the 17th floor and watch it go down again becuz we were up so high!!!!!! It was amazing, spectacular views from every room.
One night was very and I mean VERY LOUD not at the resort it self but down on the street. There was an all night party that was taking place untill 430am. and the music was so loud ear plugs didn't keep the sound out. We called the front desk but unfortunatly they were unable to do anything about it. BEWARE timeshare ppl on the beach...they are everywhere and they will say and do anyting to get you go!!!! DON"T Belive them. It's all LIES. We were picked up at 830am and didn't get back to our resort untill 345pm!!! NO JOKE!!!! It was the worst time of my life. I would rather give birth 5 times before going to another one of these deals. But really if you stay here and don't mind hangin around the pool it's wonderful and the Pina Coloda's are the best around. One restuarant we would deffinatly recomend would be the Kookabara go just before sunset and watch all the light in the bay come on as the sun goes down!!! WOW what a view. Worth the $25.00 in Taxi money round trip that is with tip. We would stay at another Royal Vacation place again. Just not here and only becuz it's so far out of town.

  • Liked — The view from our room
  • Disliked — it was to far away, coast of taxi each time we wanted to go somewhere. Spent close to 200.00 in fees and tips with them.
