I stayed at Ukae kim in Dec 2004. It is definitely one of the most charming hotels in Pie de la Cuesta (my bf and I had to move around a lot). There are maybe 15 rooms and each one has a name. Our room was soo cute-- painted yellow and was very bright and clean. There is both a ceiling fan and air condition in each room. (No hot water--but hot water is not really necessary). The hotel restaurant overlooks the beach and the drinks are stiff and nice. There is also a small little pool. THe hotel offers hammocks under a large palapa on the beach. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants more than just a plain room.
