Stayed 2 nights. The room was clean but the shower it self could be cleaner. There were several cigarette butts lying near the shower window, not a pleasant entree..
The staff were very helpfull and friendly.
Since I stayed there in the low season the price was ok; I payed 1.200 baht per night for a spacious room with oceanview and very comfortable balcony.
The swimmingpool has no space for sun bathing but I quite liked it. The pool is shared with another hotel (Ben's guesthouse) and is squeezed in between the two buildings.
Breakfast was simple but for my short stay it was ok. The omelette was actually delicious!
The building activities seemed to have neared their completion so I wasn't disturbed by that at all.
Certainly would go here again!

Our visit to Krabi was most memorable due to our stay at Royal Nakara. All credit goes to Benyada who runs the hotel so efficiently. She was a perfect host and proactively interacted and suggested us what to do as first time tourists. She also arranged for all our travels and sightseeing.

We stayed in a family room, and it was just excellent. Every small detail was thought of and it had a very warm ambiance. The hotel itself was small but very well designed. The restaurant was good to with a great view. Perfect for a morning breakfast! The location is quiet convenient, as it is just a 10 minute walk to the beach and the local market on Ao nang Beach.

Overall it was a very pleasant stay at Royal Nakara!

On our trip this hotel was the best we've visited in Thailand. Very nice and clean rooms. They upgaded our rooms free of charge, because we asked for seperate beds. Service was on 5 star level. Very helpfull staff, always friendly. This is Thailand at its best. If u plan to go to Ao Nang, consider staying here. Free breakfast included freshly prepared eggs / omlett.

The Royal Nakara is a small family run hotel. The friendly staff are willing to help you with anything you need. Golf, is the name of the front desk girl, and she was able to assist us with everything we needed , from taxi services to scooter rentals, day trips, golf reservations, and restaurant advice, her english is very good. The hotel room was VERY clean, and the Wifi was free in our room ,( there were also PC's in the lobby) breakfast was great, and was a full meal, not just juice and a muffin. the hotel is a 5 min walk to the main street which is great cause you don't get all the noise. the only draw back was the TV didn't have much for english stations and the pool has no view and no tanning deck. We found it to be a great bang for your buck
