Elegent public rooms with comfy settes in front of log fires. Just what we were looking for for a weekend bolthole. The pool is a bnus - small but big enough for short laps. We went before breakfasty and had it to ourselves. All staff encountered were firendly and helpful. The restaurant food was good and even got the approval of my wife who is a restaurant critic.

Stayed 2 nights for a short break. found hotel to be a very cosy country house hotel. staff were first class, both efficient and friendly. The restaurant was excellent. The menu was very good although it didn't change during our stay, but the selection on offer was first class.
Would stay again and definitely recommend this hotel.

Booked a groupon deal for 2 nights B&B and one evening meal, when I rang to book only one night was available for dinner, I commented that was fine as that night was our wedding anniversary. When we arrived the check in was smooth, 4 poster room nice ( not keen on outlook) by the bed was an anniversary card- very thoughtful. The seating area was welcoming with a huge log fire and lovely Christmas decorations. I was not sure about some of the combination of flavours on the menu but I had the beef fillet and it was superb and my husbands was good too; the waiting staff were very helpful and just the right amount of attention. Had room service the next night, food also good.
We had a lovely weekend and would reccomend and return. The staff did a great job.

I have now been to Branston Hall twice with a group of colleagues from work. Both times we got an overnight stay, breakfast and evening dinner package. It was excellent value, though we had to pay supplements for a number of things on the menu and pay for drinks. The venue is lovely, and grounds beautiful. It has a nice pool and jacuzzi and sauna too! The food was lovely and served promptly despite there being a number of us. The only reason for the 4/5 is that some of the rooms could do with a little update in terms of decor, but overall too good not to go again!
