This was the 3rd time we have stayed with Maureen, after a word of mouth referral. Maureen is welcoming and gracious. The rooms are immaculately clean, crisp and comfortable. Breakfast is not a meal, but an experience, not to be missed. Top quality bacon, with delicately poached eggs (from her own back garden), and homemade fruit compote, juices, cereals etc.
We spend a day walking in the mountains, come down, check-in, go for a few pints in the wee pub 'Tann Rauri' (living room with open fire and bar), 2 doors down. Then quick refresh and over to the Mourne Seafood Bar for fabulous dinner and then snooze 'till breakfast.
It's a great day & night away.
