Thanks to the previous reviewer for recommending this place to stay. We spent 3 nights there in October and had a wonderful time. Caro, the owner was delightful, making us feel so welcome and cooking up delicious breakfasts...just when you thought you couldn't eat another thing, she would appear with a plate of warm welshcakes (well, it would be rude to refuse them!).
Our room (Whitesands)had a distant view out to sea, and although it cost more than your average B and B (not that this is your average B and B), it was worth every penny - this is such a civilised place to stay: from the beautiful flowers in the hall, to the residents fridge containing jugs of fresh milk for your tea, from the decanter of port in the room to the freshly picked raspberries at breakfast.
Thank you Caro, hopefully we will return one day.
