Unfortunately we missed Bimini Sands Resort/South Bimini and stayed in Alice Town/North Bimini. After many locals told us the best place to eat was Bimini Sands, we took the ferry and then complementary taxi to the restaurant. The food was great and the bartenders were funny, attentive and made us feel so welcome! We made this our favorite food and drink destination. The view is incredible! It was obvious the owners have a love of nature, cleanliness and have staffed the resort with caring employees. I can't say enough good things about this location - it will be our next holiday resort!

My husband and I stayed at Bimini Sands Resort and Marina for 4 nights and loved it. The room was clean and had a beautiful view of the ocean. It also had a full kitchen which was nice. The food at the Petite Conch and the Club house was very fresh and delicious (try the french toast made with Bimini bread...YUM!) Grant and Katie at the recreation and activities department were fantastic! We went snorkeling at a ship wreck, swimming with sharks, kayaking through the mangroves (a definite must!!), adventuring on the nature trail, and feeding stingrays. It was definitely a memorable, relaxing, and adventurous vacation! Stay here....you will love it!

We really enjoyed our week stay at Bimini Sands. We would ESPECIALLY recommend chartering a boat. It is VERY inexpensive to do and the guides are great. The snorkeling is fantastic, and my husband enjoyed snorkeling with the sharks (which I had no part of). It is a very relaxing place to stay with friendly staff.

We had been looking forward to a warm vacation for a long time. Bimini Sands Resort was everything we expected it to be and it exceeded our expections. From the beautiful beach just steps from our perfect condo we enjoyed everthing the resort had to offer. We had such a great time snorkling, swimming with dolphins and sharks, touring the island and taking in the island culture and environment. At night the resort restaurants were the perfect place to relax after a funfulfilled day in the sun. The staff at the resort were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend staying at Bimini Sands Resort, it was a perfect getaway and the perfect vacation.
