Let me start off my telling you I had a very hard time trying to pick between staying at Royal Towers Imperial Club and The Cove. The money was the same however the room at the Cove would have been much bigger and much nicer. We thought the Imperial Club would be a way to save money so decided to go in that direction. The Royal Towers is a beautiful building. It is central for all activities and the casino is in the Royal Towers. By staying on the Imperial Club level you have available to you a lounge from 7am until 11pm. The Lounge has continental breakfast every morning. The breakfast was great. They had hard boiled eggs, lots of different danish, cereal, yogurt, all kinds of fruit, cheese, sliced meats. bread and bagels and these croisants with eggs and cheese. It was excellent. You could have many different juices, coffee, and tea. We ate here most mornings and the best part was there was no charge. Not even a mandatory tip. It was quick and delicious. Throughout the entire day you can get non-alcholic drinks at no charge. This was wonderful. They served lunch from11 to 2, that was 3 different kinds of salads, fro 2 to 5 was snacks and 5 to 8 was alcholic beverages(you did have to pay for those), and 8 to 11 was desserts. We would go out for dinner and stop at the lounge on the way back to our room for dessert. It was a great way to go. The people in the lounge were very friendly and very helpful. They also had 2 computers in the lounge that you could use for 15 minutes for free. That was a nice way for me to stay in touch. As far as the room goes, we got a harbor view room and I loved it. The view was very pretty, we could see the boats and nassau. At night it was all the pretty lights from the buildings. I was not disappointed that we got a harbor view. We were upgraded to a junior suite and the room was very nice. The first few days I did notice a mildew smell in the hall from the bathroom to the bedroom. I think it was just from being closed up, because the smell went away after being there 2 days. The time that we were there it was pretty quiet. In fact the first 5 days we did not run into another person on our floor. Our room had a huge closet which was really nice. Since we did the Imperial Club we did not get the dinning plan and I felt that worked out better for us financially. We ate out each night at great restaurants. We ate out once at Mosaic for breakfast since it was my husbands birthday and we had lunch one day at Virgils BBQ. I loved being in the royal towers since it is centrally located. It was good also since I like to go to the casino but my husband does not. He was comfortable with me going there at night by myself. We snorkeled the ruins which was right in the royal towers. That was fun and worth the price. We also loved walking the grounds and seeing all the fish. Our favorite water ride was the rapids river ride. We tried it with the single inner tube and the double and I would recommend the double. We had so much fun. I have to say on the people we encountered there were very friendly and helpful. So many people have said how rude the employees were but we did not find that to be the case. This was an expensive vacation, but going into it I realized it and planned for it. We did the dolphin and sea lion encounters and I loved them. If you want to do the deep water dolphin encounter skip the shallow water one, because they do the same things in the deep water along with a few more things. All the people at Dolphin Cay were very friendly and they made the encounters very interesting and well worth it.
