A group of about 10 people went to Breezes for a birthday day part and had an amazing time! The open bar and unlimited food choices were great. The staff were very friendly and catered to every request. I would not consider this a kid friendly location, but if you are looking for a good time with a group of friends I would highly recommend.

This being our first time to Bahamas and also our first to a highrise type resort it really exceeded our expectations. Even with the super-inclusive aspect the staff seem to go far beyond the call of duty to make your stay wonderful. Check in for us was a bit slow but that was our tardiness as we had a bus load arriving at the reaort and we ended up at the end of the line ;( sorry love(I like to talk lol) we arrived and book ocean view deluxe at 10:30am and check in was 3pm but our room was ready! The room was a bit dated in style but not in age or cleanliness if you know what I mean? Just the floral pattern but if you had a $1k bed skirt with a p** stain on it you would be upset who cares about style when your on vacation. The resort and facilities as a whole were immaculate so I'm not sure what the other reviewers are talking about! The facilities again are quite small compared to massive resorts in Mexico or Dominican but at Breezes it seemed to have everything the others did just smaller scale. We traveled feb 2-5 and it was never overly crowded. The bars and nightly entertainment from the lobby bar, piano bar etc were awesome every night. The food was the best I've tasted at an all inclusive tho I've not traveled to Nassau before. I saw smoked salmon in the morning not really one for seafood but omlettes we great and to exquisite al lacartes at night... What more can I say.... Oops sorry "mama" beach grill to die for with everything from French fries and salads to jerk chicken and conch fritters yum! Animation staff were great yes super Mario!, the rock climbing guy(forgot his name but he knew mine :) who also told me I couldn't use the trapezes cause I didn't have socks lol among other reasons( to much Kalik beer lol) I agreed with him! To my lovely Lakisha ! and Michelle at the pool bar who also knew and presented a smile Along with our favorite beverages!
Breezes is awesome overall for most travellers.... And I wouldn't say I'm high maintenance but I like getting the most value for my hard earned Doller and this place delivered! The location on cable beach is a short "number 10 ride..($1.25) can't go wrong to down town where you can go see some historical sites as we did eg. Fort fin castle and the queens staircase or just walk around.... My wife tried to walk into Gucci and Versace but I said " I think there's a Starbucks around the corner with wireless "lol.... I did buy her some thing nice at John Bull jewelers to all you haters lol, and i took her on vacation not to buy her a handbag !
Sorry lol We left after breakfast around 8:30 and we were back to lounge at the pool by 12:30 as the Disney cruise came in and we were at the straw market at the time, it just became overwhelmingly busy so back in the number 10 again and back for 1.25 or .50 can't remember a quarter either way. It was great to meet the locals who were more than happy to point out that we were headed in completely the wrong direction lol. All in all great place an best place I've stayed hands down for over all quality and value. Any questions let me know. If you've booked and unsure let me know I'll be glad to go in your place :)
On a last note to all you romantics out there flowers are hard to come by, i ended up with some but took some work again thanks to staff for helping me out with the particulars and again Lakisha if you read this I'm the guy that always wanted 2 beers and a mudslide for the wife lol miss everyone.

To sum it up Breezes is exciting, fun, enchanting and beautiful as with our ocean view room although probley not the best of rooms was still out of this world, the colour of the ocean is second to none.

we recently got back from a week at the resort. Thr transfer from the airport to ther hotel was quick. We had read in prior reviews to watch out for the 1st floor of the resort because of a "ocean smell" . we ended up on the first floor -but we asked to be changed because of the odouor and we ended up on the 5th floor. the resort is older, and it is a four star at tops. The beach was nice, but it always seemed windy...... the buffet was ok - and it was a good thing we ate at the 2 restaurants to have a change of meals. the restaurants were nice, but lacked great service, but as they say - we do it in Bahama time, which means no rush..... the Staff at the resort were super. friendly and helpful.......you couldn t ask for nicer people.. we had a great time during the say and evenings . the entertainment staff was super and the band was great.........the Straw Market is a bunch of small booths with all the same stuff........and they all want to "deal" with you .....lol.............meals away from the resort can be expensive so watch it if you eat at restaurants....... take the # 10 bus from the resort to town ..... it was quick and easy - if you can get used to being on the wrong side of the road lol

I expected a lot more from this resort than what was experienced. The Bahamas are beautiful, so one would think this resort would have been too. The colors were great, but the rooms had no AC. We went in December, which is an off season in the Bahamas, but the rooms were so hot! The bed was a disaster, and getting any kind of sleep was a joke, the food was subpar, I guess thats what you get when you stay at an all-inclusive resort.... The only good thing was the bar staff, they were friendly and made some great drinks. Other than that our experience there was horrible, and we will never return to this resort....
