We were here before. We had a so-so time due in part to a crappy room. Luckily the manager at that time moved us, and we got the best place.
This time, we booked, asked specifically for the good room, only to be told when we arrive that it wasn't available for several days. Too bad the new management group hadn't told us that when we booked.
There are a few rooms worth asking about. One is owned by Donovans on the small villa side. The other better & BIGGER villa is owned by the Zeislofts. And a cute place although we didn't see it this trip was ownedby a woman named Dolby. She has good taste, and is also on the larger villa side.
The new restaurant is at a minimum CLEANER!! and the updates to the balcony for breakfast make the breakfast space very nice. Food was fine, but as always, expensive for my NorthEastern sensabilities.
I'm giving the Service high marks for the ONSITE person. The phone service was attrocious for booking, but we knew they are just 'doing their job" and have little to do wth the villa once you arrive (they book for multiple places and don't care about a caller.)
We also visited a couple rooms at the Sapphire Beach Resort nearby, and this pace, P&P is a much better bargain all around since you have your own pool, and you can skinny dip if you don't have my kids. The Sapphire beach can be used by anyone...
