Not sure how old the photos on their website are- but they are highly inaccurate! Our room was filthy, the stove was missing one element completely and the rest of it was black. The windows were inoperable and screens just leaning in place. The deck had soft spots where you would poke thru from rot. The pool is non functional. The chairs were broken. There is no beach on the property- it's directly on the coral reefs/rocks. Stains were on the furniture, towels, and bedding. The fold out couch came with 2 moldy pillows that had no covers. We left immediately and are still trying to recover the deposit. Someone else posted a review that stated the place is one step above homeless- they're right on the money. What a nightmare!!!

the place was horrible. we stayed in the penthouse sweet which was a higher rate. the ac didn't work, the windows would not close completely, the door did not lock, the lights quit working, and there were ants everywhere. if you left a drink on the counter for 5 minutes ants were all over it. the owners weren't very nelpful either. they said we will fix it tomorrow and never did. the place is nasty. there is not a beach there either. it is about 1/4 mile down the road. do not waste your money staying here. the price may sound good, but it will ruin your vacation. stay away!!!!

My wife and I have been coming here for 10 years. Just now leaving after a week stay (with 31 yr old son) and will be returning later tSeptember for another week. The inflammatory negative posts here are way off the mark given the change of property owners. If it was as bad as portrayed, I wouldn't stay here year after year past 10 years sometimes in consecutive months. New owners, father, mother and daughter, are in process of upgrading physical aspects including resurfacing the fresh water pool. If you want a resort/all inclusive and are a clean freak like "monk" on TV-dont go here. If you are a watersports enthusiast who likes a very clean, but freshly painted rustic rooms, all kitchen suites for cooking, unpretentious people, locals and good food (food themes nightly) and like to lounge around in shorts and flip flops, come here. They even have WIFI, a Humphrey Bogart themed down home outdoor bar "Bogeys" with the best sunsets. Award winning texas draw poker nights too. Stay in rooms named coconut, pointsetia and alleanda or the room below coconut.

Do NOT stay here, you will want to commit suicide within one hour of your arrival. There were armies of rats running around outside the dumpster, there was a terrible smell coming from the restaurant/bar that just hung around 24/7. The windows were so dirty you could barely see out of them. There were bugs and cockroaches in the kitchen. There was dirty sanitary napkins lying under the bathroom cabinets. Basically it reminded me of a Whore House in the Phillipines and was actually more disguisting! The patio furniture was rotted and so was the railings. The doors did not lock and the place smelled like the bathroom door on a shrimp boat. No lie. Do NOT waste your money on this hotel.. It is a JOKE.
