“Very peaceful and relaxing”

Aquamarine is the perfect place to go if you want to have your own quiet beach, snorkeling right outside your front door, set your own schedule, do your own thing, and just be. Paula and John work really hard to make everybody's stay a great one, and the unit that we stayed in (Sunset downstairs unit) was just perfect for my husband and I. It was an easy walk to the IGA grocery store and nearby restaurants (Sharkbite Grill, Somewhere Cafe, etc.) and we loved having a full kitchen so that we could do our own thing when we wanted to. Snorkeling gear is provided, as is airport pick-up and drop-off, and there are kayaks, plenty of beach chairs, portable cabanas, etc. A convivial atmosphere was created by the other guests, but there are never so many people around that you feel crowded. A great spot; we just returned home last night, and we sincerely hope to go back.

Aquamarine Beach Houses were beautiful, especially our accommodations at the Seabreeze balcony unit. What a view! Paula and John were terrific hosts. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it for a peaceful, relaxing vacation.

“Relaxing, clean and beautiful”

We just returned from our second stay at Aquamarine Beach Houses. We've stayed in the two bedroom upstairs and in the one bedroom on the ground floor.
John and Paula are very gracious hosts, and help to make the stay very enjoyable.
The suites are exceptionally clean with daily housekeeping. All the amenities, for snorkeling, sea kyaking, lounging, playing catch are readily available.
The views are spectacular!!!! So few people walk down this stretch of beach so it's very private.
The IGA grocery store and liquor is an 11minute walk away. The best, meaning the largest snorkeling site is at Smiths reef is a 25 minute beach walk away; or if you're lazy just go out front, it's very nice snorkeling there.
If you want to go out for lunch or dinner, it's 15 minutes to Somewhere bar at Coral Gardens, two for one beers starting at 4:30 or 20 minutes the other way to Sharks Bite bar at Turtle Cove for Grouper or snapper.
No need for a car when you stay here. Pick up the groceries on your way from the airport and hang loose!! We'll be back!

Room Tip: Go with another couple and pick the upstairs two bedroom, great view, great value!! Lots of room!!

“AMAZING!”

My mother and I stayed here over the Christmas holidays. Grace Bay beach was by far the nicest beach we have ever visited. Peaceful/ Serene/ Tranquil sums up Aquamarine Beach Houses and Grace Bay as a whole. Paula was extremely hospitable. Would go back in a heart beat. Great snorkeling right out front!

“Magic”

We could repeat everything that has been said about ABH -- the fabulous beach, the weather, the property... they are all true! They did everything to make you feel at ease, with on point recommendations for rides, massages, you name it. When they didn't have big enough fins for my husband, Paula made them appear in our room the next morning. For Christmas, they kindly invited us all for Christmas dinner--lovely food and company under a big star-studded sky! We loved being on the quiet end of Grace Bay, but able to walk to other restaurants and snorkeling spots. The public park next door where locals went was a joyful reminder of who you share this paradise with. During the time we were there, they even managed to make 10 egrets appear on a tree in front of our room, as well as an osprey... not to mention the countless underwater marvels. Paula and John seem to have found a coherent and harmonious balance with nature and the local community, so everyone is served. We are grateful to have found this lovely place, and are already planning our return.
