Great relaxing place to stay after a long day and/or night of work. Located between the San Fernando refinery and the Pt. Lisas process plants, Cara Suites has amenities and a very helpful staff. The lobby bar overlooks the Gulf of Paria and has a great atmosphere. The rooms are large and the beds comfortable.

The hotel is increasing room #s. From the looks of it it will be grand, landscaping is in place. It provides a wonderful view of the gulf of paria, some local history in derelict boats combine well (to me at least) with the sea and sunset).
Dinner & breakfast tastes great staff wonderfully trinbagonian.

Our stay at Cara Suites although we were not on leisure was so relaxing. The view in the morning was great the rooms left you feeling so wanted and welcome esp. the welcome letter. The food was BON APETITE!! Hats off to the chefs and the service was all done with a warm smile. Thanks for a great stay. Keep up the great work

As a female business traveler who spends the majority of the month staying in hotels throughout the Region and Central America, I highly recommend if you are visiting South Trinidad to stay at Cara Suites.
I was pleasantly surprised when I checked into my room, to find that it was on par with other International Hotel Accommodation I have stayed in. Breakfast was complimentary and offered a varied range of both International and Local cuisine. The bar was comfortable and relaxing with a great view of the ocean and offered a very good bar snacks menu.
The staffs were friendly, unobtrusive and certainly made me feel welcome. The service, no complaints. I didn’t have time to try the pool but hope to on my next visit.
