Just spent a wonderful weekend with my wife at this property and have only good things to say. The room was clean and well appointed with a fantastic view of the ocean - we went to sleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. The food was excellent - definitely up to 5 star quality which exceeded any expectations we had. My wife loved the spa treatment and the staff were top of the line friendly, efficient and helpful in making this one of the best getaways we have enjoyed in a long time. The only drawback was the distance to get to the resort but it is definitely worth the effort. Ask for directions if driving since there is no sign for the resort - just look for the orange building on the hill. A true hidden gem and the perfect place to spend a romantic getaway.

Perfect for a quiet escape from the hectic busy life of the states. Warm and inviting staff made our trip even more spectacular. Exceptional service and food was the best part. I'm still savoring over the amazing dishes and chef's specialties. The drive to and from the airport was lengthy but very scenic. Great beach. We got a tour of the rainforest which was one of my favorite experiences. Highly recommend this resort!

My wife and I just spent my birthday and the last few days at Anise Resort and Spa. We were warmly welcomed with complimentary drinks and towels to refresh ourselves. The staff made us feel so pampered, comfortable and at home. The food is great and the presentation and preparation exceeds the standards of all the hotels we have visited. It is the ideal place to rest, away from laptops, work and responsibilities. The rooms, restaurant and grounds are spotlessly clean and the view is magnificent beyond words. The entire ambience energizes one's spirit and sense of well being. The resort also has its own herb garden. The service is so strikingly personalized that I even received a birthday card signed by the entire Anise team. We will certainly be returning. The personalized first rate treatment begins the moment you set foot on the property. The owners and staff are attentive, warm and courteous. All meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner were delicious! The ambience of the property is wonderful - truly an idyllic refuge. No hesitation in recommending Anise to anyone who wants to get away from it all and receive superb treatment. Definitely worth a return visit.
