My wife and I stayed at this hotel in July this year.

Initially, we were quite satisfied with the hospitality, the room was sparsely furnished but adequate for our stay. The bathroom was not good, ants running around, little water pressure from the shower and luke warm water.

The grounds are well kept, however the beach area is small with no where to walk. The food needs to be improved especially in the evenings. The entertainment team seemed to have more fun than the guests and the band is very loud in the evenings.

After a couple of days I started to feel uncomfortable, the bar person Melonnie, often asked for " a little something " every time she served me a drink, she also hassled my wife to take a trip out of the hotel using her transport. She also told another guest that she could arrange for anything to be delivered should they want it, all this service came at a price. We found this relentless behaviour quite rude and not what we expected.

We went to this hotel to have a rest and enjoy the sunshine, it was far from it....

As a solo traveler I did alot of research prior to my trip to jamaica. I wanted to get a great experience, meet new people, try authentic food and enjoy the sun and the beach. At Club Ambiance....I got everything I was looking for. By the end of the first day, I had already met and was greeted by several staff members by name. The food at the resort was very authentic...from Saltfish in the morning, to Curried Goat at night. This is not a mega resort by any means but its truly a special place in Jamaica. The room was very accommodating, minimal but who is going to stay in their room while in the carribean. I wanted to give high remarks to the following staff members in which I will call my friends when I return to Jamaica : Kerisha, Mellonie, Maria, Phillip, Junior....they are amazing people!!!!

I went on the 4 x 4 Chukka Bob marley tour. Highly recommended. I also went on the Jamaican Tours unlimited Ocho Rios Hilites tour to Fern Gulley, Catoyba Gardens, Ocho Rios shopping and Dunns River Falls...This is a great day trip also.

Please go to Club Ambiance....You will find a piece of paradise that you can call your home....I promise.

My Holiday at this hotel was far below standard. We spent one week eating badly cooked food and drinking out of dirty glasses. It was noticed that the female bartenders spent most of the days chatting up male guests instead of making sure glasses were clean. On our return my Husband experienced severe sickness which resulted in more time off work.
I would not recommend this resort to anyone, the food, staff and rooms are disgraceful.

Beautiful resort. Very friendly and outgoing staff.
Room was huge with great view of beaches and sunset.
