There are many great things about Club Ambiance: the staffI is wonderful , the food is tasty and the drinks are plentiful. I cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about the staff. Barney, Kerry, Nigel, Melonee, Jr., Maria, Dexter, Omar, Tenaj, Joseph, Tindel, Sean, Tony, Marvin, Martino, Sonalee, Philip, Mark, Richard, Eustace, Colin, Lisa B., Vinet, ....I could go on and on... Bottom line, the staff is top notch!. The resort is not too big, which is great for getting to know other travelers as well as meeting everyone that works at the resort. My husband and I met many people from all over the world and walk away with some great memories.

The only minor incident was we were without air conditioning for two nights. At first we were a little cranky abou the situation but we then decided to look at it as we were experiencing the real Jamaica! :-) Hot, hot, hot!!!!

Overall experience at Club Ambiance was a positive one and I would recommend this hotel to other travelers!

Paul Williams our driver picked us up at the airport (NO waiting on Paul), stopped at Scotchies to get some local fare (only to find out it was Jamaica day lol at CA when we arrived).

Always nice to have a big clean room. We love our housekeeper (2nd time we've had her)...she was so great to clean around our schedule. Mini fridge is handy, as is the coffee maker & supplies, also the iron and board is a bonus.

Food is fine. Repetitive after a couple of days just like all a/i's I've been too. Best thing I ate was the pumpkin soup...YUMMY. Lots of choices and no one will starve lol.

Bar: bar service here shines imo. Excellent staff...some real shining stars like Phillip. Didn't see much tipping happening :( Please tip if you can!

Entertainment: fun times. Pretty good stuff for the price point. I've paid more and had less. It's all what you make it right? You can hang on your balcony and have a private party (tee hee), see and hear all the show if your room faces the stage on that side.

Good times were had by us. We really enjoy this resort due to it's size (small), location (North Coast for personal reasons), ADULTS ONLY (yay), view rooms, staff and COST. Great value for what you pay and get. This was our third time here in 1.5 years.

Great to finally meet Kall in person after all these years here together...btw girl...we didn't get any 'white' new towels...just sayin....get on that will ya? lol.

First of all, let me say that if you are researching to find the best hotel for you....make sure you know what is important to you! If you expect everything to be brand new, don't go to Club Ambiance! If you want 5 star cuisine with white glove service, this is NOT your spot!
I work in the entertainment industry in a very nice hotel in Orlando. I know what good customer service is, and I find that very important! Nigel, Phillip,Barney,Maria, Omar, Dexter, the front desk,Lisa the omellete lady, heck even the guys scooping seaweed were extremely kind and they took time to speak with us about their country and knew our names right away! In Florida, we have great beaches. The beaches at CA, are small , and shallow. BUT...there is good snorkeling there, plus pedalos and kayaks , to explore the deeper water. Plus, since you are getting such a bargain, you can afford to explore the island, which is very beautiful and diverse. Mountains, waterfalls , great beaches are all there . We took the bike ride to Flavours Beach, which was great. We went tubing in the White River. We visited The Blue House in Ocho Rios, a bed and breakfast, and visited some kids , to bring some much needed supplies. What an amazing experience !
The food is simple , but I found something pretty tasty each day. The drinks are flowing and you hear laughter everywhere! The shows were very good , the band was great, especially when Michelle Blak came in on Saturday night. The disco was fun. We made some instant , life long friends from all over the world! Poland, Holland, Mexico, UK, Isreal, and all over the USA!
Bottom line, if you want a relaxing vacation, adults only, where you laugh and smile alot , learn about the Jamaican people , and make alot of friends...this is the place for you!
If you expect fanciness or pretentiousness, then go somewhere else!

on arriving at this hotel.i was very dissapointed.very basic beach very small staff at this hotel were excellent nothing too much trouble dexter winsome lisa phillip and maria they work very hard to make sure you . happy .we made some fantastic friends here the food well omlettes were great served with a beaming smile. and i loved the snack bar for its hamburgers were lovely but main restaurant food left a lot to be desired if you looking for a relaxed place to stay dont have to dress up with good staff club ambience is it
