A nice B&B; simple rooms but nothing is lacking (except A/C); very hospital; breakfast has been magic. Miss Lydia is the most friendly person I met in Jamaica. She travelled 4 hours with a courier (and 4 to come back) just to be sure that the luggage I forgot there was given directly in my hands. I am very grateful to her and I strongly recommend this B&B.

miss Lydia and her family made us feel so welcome and so comfortable.we were tired when we got there and we were need to just settle in and get something to eat.miss Lydia took us to this little restaurant and we had a wonderful time .in the morning we woke to a delicious breakfast. i would recommend any one to visit this guest house

Ocean Crest is located on Titchfield Hill in Port Antonio, Portland, Jamaica. We love this side of the island, and the three of us were satisfied with the basic accomodations this little guesthouse has to offer. We spent 3 nights here and while our room did not have A/C, we did have a fan to help keep us cool. The room was basic, but nothing was lacking and the view was very nice! Breakfast was available, but it wasn't anything to brag about...we prefered eating somewhere else in town. Ms. Lydia, the owner of the property, is a nice Jamaican woman who tries to makes her guests' stay enjoyable. The marina as well as Musgrove Market, are easily accessible...they're right at the bottom of the hill which is a short walk from the property. There's also a little supermarket as soon as you reach the bottom of the hill, where we stopped off for juices, etc. Ocean Crest is not a bad place to stay while exploring Port Antonio. It's in a good location with nice views.

I don't know what the first comment was refering to but Ms. Lydia at Ocean Crest made my vacation one of the most memorable. The business is family owned and they truly went the extra mile to make sure we were well accomodated. Ms. Lydia's grandaughter was so kind to even walk with us down town and show us the best restaraunts and attractions. They made us feel like family. The rooms were clean and the view is fantastic. Port Antonio on a whole is the saturated with sweet jamaican flavor. It is so peaceful. Ocean crest is truly a home away from home.
