WOW! How can I explain Paradise. Just landed and ready to go back. This place allows you to relax without a care in the world. The fact of having a chef and bartender on board with you for the day - knowing you don't have to get dressed & go out for your meals is excellent. Our staff was A+, Wendy, who's better then you girl. Our Chef was on point too. You can order anything you wanted and weren't limited to what was just on the menu, it was AWESOME. You'll get a little hassled by the guys on the beach to parasail or jetski with them but once you tell them no it was no, for that day, LOL. The villas are beautiful & spacious with your own pool. Your villa is just a few steps away from the beach & did I mention if you're at the beach your bartender will walk to the beach to check if you need a refill on your drink. MDV goes above and beyond TLC. Can't wait to go back.

This was our second time vacationing at Moon Dance Villas. It was excellent the first time we visited 5 years ago and excellent again in 2011. We are planning our 3rd trip to this resort. It was worth every dollar. The staff is excellent, the food is excellent and the location is perfect. We requested the same staff and Moon Dance accommodated. I suggest anyone who is looking for a vacation where they want to relax, this is the place. Three full meals everyday, and a bartender ready to serve. I didn’t want to go on any excursions because I didn’t want to miss a meal lol. If you want to hang out they have clubs nearby and have plenty of other activities if you don’t want to relax.

Moondance Villa is amazing...We were married there in December 2010 & recently visited again for our friends Honeymoon in September. Thanks Mikey & CiCi for inviting us!!! Our Lady of the House Wendy is Amazing!!! The entire staff was excellent & we will visit at least once a year, until the day we can no longer travel. Next year we will take our girls, so they can also feel the love. Thanks Moondance & we will see you soon...............

My newly wedded husband and I booked our honeymoon for 6 days at MDV on July 4, 2011 and stayed in Lilac Mist, the one bedroom villa.
The villa was scheduled in August to be updated as when it rained while we were there and there were leaks from the ceiling. The air conditioning didn’t work that well and the mosquito’s were quite aggressive as we had to spray ourselves with off every night, probably not that avoidable as you are surrounded by trees and plants. The staff did work very hard to make sure we were comfortable and they did keep the place very clean. The grounds are beautiful and well kept.
Wendy, our butler, treated us like royalty and we certainly overindulged to our hearts content. She reminded us that we were on vacation and did a great job to help us relax. Seymour, our chef was awesome, he really can cook some mean dishes. I would recommend Wendy and Seymour to anyone staying at MDV. The cleaning service provided by Denzell was outstanding also.
I would agree that on the weekend is when we found that the area was not that quiet as Margaritaville is in walking distance and there were some parties and you could hear the music etc., Other than that, it was peaceful.
The location on Negril's 7-mile beach is just fabulous; you walk out of your room everyday and you're right on the beach. If you are interested in doing water sports like jet skiing, it is best to negotiate on your own. We were told that the MDV lifeguard could get us the best deals and to use him for arranging your activities, but after a few days, we did our own negotiating and came out with even better deals. We booked the “Wild Thing” catamaran cruise and snorkel tour and was not disappointed with the staff or service. The cruise included a trip to Rick’s Café to watch the cliff divers which was nice.
If you are interested in going to the sister location- Moon Dance cliffs, be mindful that you will be charged roundtrip transportation, which was not clear to us upon check in. I did have a spa treatment at MDC and had my hair done. The service and staff was A1 and outstanding. We had dinner there one evening at Annie’s and it was beautiful sitting at the cliffs and the food was very good.
If you're looking for a beautiful location, with clean well-kept rooms, great service, and delicious food...look no further! I would definitely go back with maybe a group of couples. I do think we will try the sister resort- MDC the next time to gain a different experience.
