“Like nothing else”

I've read the favorable reviews and they are all true. Mark, Alicia and their staff (really more like their family) are all wonderful. It is like staying with friends in an Eden-like environment. Don't miss the Rasta Tour. You will love the food and the spring water is actually tasty. The bar is a great place to unwind at the end of the day with the other guests.

“A delightful experience off the beaten track”

If you're looking a taste of the real Jamaica, this may be a place for you. It's a small intimate setting-very family like atmosphere. Would not recommend for families with very small children. I think older children would love climbing around the hills and streams in the area! The accommodations were better than I was expecting; Mark and Alicia, as well as everyone we met, sought to make our experience a good one. The food was delicious and healthy as well. Our one regret was not being there in the avocado and mango season! Zimbali is really off the beaten path, and if you're looking for constant entertainment, you might be disappointed. But if you want a relaxing vacation in a natural setting, and enjoy meeting new people and having new experiences, this is the place. Of course, Mark can arrange a driver to take you to Negril for the beach, or evening entertainment as well. Don't need fancy clothes here, but do bring some bills for tips! Everyone who does you a service enjoys a little something as thanks!
