Beautiful setting that words can't do justice. Great hosts, great food... I could go on but then I'd never get a reservation. See it for yourself- This is the Real Jamaica!

We really enjoyed our week in the treetops at the Good Hope Retreat. Quiet, relaxing, beautiful sunsets, delicious food, everything was lovely. We did go into Negril a couple times and down to Bluefields Beach, which was nice and not too touristy. The owners of Good Hope really tried to do everything to make our stay enjoyable. We enjoyed the homemade ginger wine, and just talking and visiting with our hosts, Terry, Sean & Geneva and their tiny baby boy Tobias, who is already a great host!

My wife and I spent a wonderful relaxing week at Good Hope. The hand-made two story cottage was charming, with a view out over the ocean. The complex is small and 2000 ft up so the views and sunset are awesome. Our food was all local fare, varied, interesting and delicious. The owner has made his own ginger wine which was very enjoyable and was a wonderful way to pass the evening. A local driver was available for day trips when desired. Locations were YS Falls , Bluefield Beach, Black River and NIgril was about about an hour away when nightlife was desired. The outdoor shower was a wonderful experience with solar heated water. The resort is rustic but the proprietor and the local people were kind courtious and it is a great place to relax., unwind and get in touch with yourself and nature.
