Charlie and the gang, thanks for making Shelly and I feel like family during every second of our stay. We have told all of our friends and family that this is the spot to be. We have stayed on the beach in Negril as well; we will never stay anywhere else in Jamaica other than with you. We have vacationed all over the world, and your location on the cliffs, the atmosphere you provide, and the quality of your rooms are AWESOME! It made us feel guilty that we were paying so little. Your rooms are spacious and extremely clean. The views of the ocean from the room, including the balcony and comfortable chairs, were breathtaking. I could not believe how close we were. Lounging on our own series of cliffs (Charlie has put in patios on the stepped cliffs below the top cliff edge) provided serene privacy totally unexperienced by anyone on the beach; we were all by ourselves. Your personal chef coming down the cliffs to bring us our lunch (and several drinks) as we soaked in the sun on our lounge chairs was perfect service. Especially for the price, this was above and beyond the call of duty - - all with a Jamaican smile. The food was amazing; we had many meels here. Jumping from the cliffs right in front of the rooms and into the crystal clear ocean made me feel like a kid again. And, one reason you go to the Carribean, staying at your resort made me look brilliant and much more attractive to my wife than the mirror would suggest. Shelly absolutely loved it. Now that is priceless!

We are not AI type people and enjoy smaller places that let you feel the local vibe...Home Sweet Home totally meets this critiera. It is a beautifual location on the cliffs with nice lounging platforms on the rocks and easy access into the ocean for swimming and snorkeling. We only ate breakfast there but the calalloo omelets were delicious! The owner, Charlie, and the rest of the staff were absolutely wonderful...they made us feel so welcome and were accomodating to whatever we needed. We stayed in room 10, which could use a little updating (think cabin-up-north rustic), but was a great value, clean, had a comfortable bed and pillows and had an amazing view. If you need a little fancier or larger room I would suggest booking one of the suites. That being said, room 10 more than met OUR needs (how much time do you actually spend in your room in Negril ?? LOL). A big plus was the private covered patio off the room ...we enjoyed sitting out there in the mornings eating breakfast, taking in the amazing view, watching the afternoon rain squalls and just chillin'. The location of HSH is within walking distance of numerous smaller eating and drinking establishments (recommend:The Country Western Bar...one of our new favorite little bars in Negril) and is never a problem to catch a route taxi into town/beach or to go further up the West End if you don't want to walk. We will be back to Negril at some point and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Relaxed, "anything goes" kinda place. The place is on the cliffs, overlooking the most beautiful aquamarine ocean. You can jump right in. As others have noted, the sunsets last for hours. Rooms have fridges where you can store your beers, wine and juice. I highly recommend the local sour sop juice. I just visitied with a bunch of girlfriends. We took over 2 rooms, one with a fab huge deck where we could sun bathe and star gaze in private. Charile, as other also noted, is a sweet guy and will make sure you have a good time as his place. I will return soon.

Charlie thank you for hosting myself Sandra and Garry. Your resort is beautiful, so much attention to detail. You can feel the thought put into every nook and cranny. The views and ocean breeze are to die for. Thanks again for the hospitality and are counting the days to our next visit.
