Rondel Village is a nice place to stay. Relatively cheap, clean, great staff and a beautiful beach. Tree frogs can keep you awake at night, though, and you are near "The Jungle" which has some pretty loud music at times. But---with vacation comes some party time, so not a big deal. Security is excellent here and the staff is probably the most friendly I've found anywhere. On the beach there are plenty of activities including snorkeling, jet ski rides, catamaran rides, a masseuse (Verona) who is quite good, parasailing and small shops along the entire beachfront. We had a great time and look forward to returning to Rondel Village.

We simply loved staying here. Our previous six trips to Jamaica have been in All- Inclusive resorts. This past December we thought we would try something different. We were pleasantly surprised. EVERYONE - from the front staff to the gardeners to the wait-staff - were fantastic. For our experiences travelling it is the people that make the difference. Francine, Delroy, Kenisha, Carol to name a few are outstanding. You get very good value for your money here. There are TWO pools and TWO hot tubs on this cozy resort.
We would stay here again and we do not hesitate to recommend it to others.

My friends and I first visited Negril together in 2008. I have been every year since then, and have stayed all over the Island, but Rondel Village is my favorite. The staff is friendly, the resort is clean, it appears to be newly built or renovated. The bar is one of the best on the beach in my opinion, stop in and ask Delroy for a pina colada!
The rooms are clean, the view from anywhere on the location is of lush, tropical vegetation, unless you have a beach front room or a villa, which gives you a view of the sea.
The actual beach area is small, but you are steps away from the beach and you are located right on the main strip.
The hotel is right across the street from the Jungle Night Club, so you do not have far to walk after a night of partying!

My son and I came down to Negril December 4, 2011 for a 4 day stay. We were participating in the Reggae Marathon. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rondel Village. From the pleasant greeting when we checked in late Friday night, through the guys who brought our lounge chairs out to the beach to the house keeping staff who made up our rooms each day, everything and everyone worked hard to take care of us. The resort property was very well maintained with lush gardens and clean beach. The room had a flat panel TV with lots of channels to choose from even though we didn't spend much time in our rooms. We are already planning our return vist in 2012 for Reggae Marathon 2012. PS: For Reggae Marathon runners, it is only about 1.4 miles to the start...a nice warm up walk before the race
