“the next big thing in Ochio Rios!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 October 2011

my boyfriend and i stayed here November 2010. i absolutely love their rooms - just being able to wake up early in the morning and view the ocean while on his chest - so breath taking and a memory so priceless. he and i veiwed the pool and beach which was out of service. the bathroom could definetly use a few repairs as well as the furnitures. we only stayed a week so not having a remote to wacth tv was no problem (to me at least, for personally, i would be much better off without the tv in our room). their staff was very friendly and respectful - answered any questions we asked. we love the fact that it was quite, few minutes (or seconds) from the town center - we could easily go and buy anything we want - Jamaican stuff or otherwise. most of all, it is just a cab away from Dunns River Falls, Mystic Mountains, Dolvin Coves ect. with all the very much needed repairs, this hotel is our number one choice and as long as long it doesn't continue to head downwards, it will be our number one choice in Ochio Rios. i absolutely love it there - it fit our budget and gave us an experience we'll never forget. thank you Silver Seas - may God richly bless you and we wish you all the best for the upcoming years - you'll be seeing us soon PS. “Just simple but relaxing”

I stayed at this hotel for two nights along with my boyfriend over a weekend. Upon first arriving, I noticed that it was clean and someone was there to greet us. Looking around, it wasnt as bad as previous comments stated; the environment was clean. My room was very big with white furnishings and two double beds. However the furniture and bathroom was fixings were rusty and could do with some replacement and also the sheets. There was no remote in the room so that was a downfall. The view was spectacular and each morning my boyfriend and I would have the Rastaman's breakfast which was very good on the balcony overlooking the sea and then share a drink by the poolside bar. However there was not much to do in the hotel so if you need entertainment the town is a minute walk away. Otherwise the hotel is very quiet, peaceful and homely. I would definately return and it was worth the money paid.

I had a lovely stay at silver sands, i had a massive room, clean room with on suite and my own balcony. It was very peaceful,, yet 1 mins walk from main street. Had lovely views, with a small pool, small private beach. YES i would go again, you could not ask for anything better real value for money. Lovely staff.... See you soon

“Unforgettable ocean view!”

We spent 3 nights in Silver Seas.
Our room was really big, wonderful view to the ocean.
We had swimming to the reef in the morning and we enjoyed good breakfasts at the hotel.
Starting from here, you can visit many things - we visited Nine Mile, Reggae Beach and many other beaches in the Ocho Rios area.
The city is full of shops, restaurants and we had nice days.
Silver Seas is highly Recommended!
Greetings from Italy!

“Diamond in the rough!”

Silver Seas must have been magnificent in it's heyday. Without the original sparkle it's still a very nice place to stay! The rooms are large and have huge verandas overlooking the sea. You don't have to go anywhere else to snorkel as the ocean directly in front of the Silver Seas is where all of the other resorts bring their snorkelers. Ask for a room upstairs with a wood ceiling. There is wifi in the lobby and the employees are very helpful and friendly
