I stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks this past visit and I was once again welcomed by the very friendly and courteous staff in the business. After reading other reviews, I am not sure as to why people feel as though the staff are not trustworthy. I am confident in saying that I have never had an issue with any staff member and they always go out of the way to ensure that I feel safe and comfortable. I want to acknowledge the Bar and Restaurant staff and how everyone who comes in contact with them states that they are the reason why they will or do come back. I trust that Management will make note of this and do the right thing. The hotel has been going through various renovations and are always trying to improve their looks but lets be honest, renovations take time. Is it really that important to have a flat screen in your room? I have and will continue to recommend this hotel to my friends. Great job everyone.

A little out of the way, quite and inexpensive, the food was average but the staff extreemly pleasant, I see it as a cheaper version of the Courtleigh a sister hotel in the same town. The room I had was clean but the only windows were in the bathroom, which seemed odd.

The pillows I had were too high for me but thats me. Hot Breakfast was included and although limited to Eggs and Sausage, it was fine,

We stayed one night at the Knutsford in December 2011. I went by the photos online on the hotels website to book a room. We received a room that was the same quality as a motel 6, nothing like the photos they have of the available rooms. No flat screen tv, bedding was very old and nothing like what was promised. No internet access in the rooms The parking is plentiful but we entered through the back of the hotel in torrential rain and had to wade through several inches of water to get to the lobby. No signage to point a traveler to the front of the hotel for easier access. One bright spot to the evening was the onsite restaurant, very reasonable prices and possibly one of the best meals I have had in Jamaica. Our server was fabulous, thus the three stars I have given the hotel. There is a decent free breakfast offered in the morning but those servers were not as professional or helpful as the waitress in the upstairs restaurant.

I stayed here for 3 nights on business. On arrival I gave an imprint of my credit card as normal. During my stay I did not use my card anywhere else in Jamaica. Shortly after my departure I received a call from my bank to say that my card had been used to buy flights with Virgin and efforts to buy flights with Sky Blue had been blocked. Unfortunately I am £660 out of pocket as the first payment was accepted. My card details must have been used by a member of staff as at no time was it out of my possession and I did not use this card before or after. Luckily the bank blocked most of the transactions.
I e-mailed the hotel but they never answered. I think it is despicable that a hotel can do this to you and feel that they should have, at the very least, the grace to apologise.
