The Hotel is pretty good. Rooms are two stairs, four entrances bungalows with kitchen, fridge, etc...
Small private terrasse extra for the first cofee in the morning and the last drink at night.
Parking lot is guarded night and day. You need car if you plan to visit the neighborhoud. You can park it near you bungallows.
The surrounding garden is splendid. with wood bridges, water falls (small of course) and stepstones.
2 bigs pools, just near the beach surmounted by a "very romantic" ;o) wood bridge . the beach is situated near the bar and the children pool. Beach is small and not the most attractive of the island, but anyway the water is clear and chairs and accomodations are fine.
Some vendors sometimes. But no big commercial pressure anyway.
Childclub it's a bit small but very friendly and pooltime the best moment of the day for the kids.
The animation team is definitively not "the top".
One # animation each night at the bar. Be prepared sometimes it's really not a "Las vegas showtime"....
All in all they intertain more my daughter than me or my wife.
1 (rather big) restaurant. Food is not the best moment of the day but overall it's taste good and nobody was sick. If you want more exiting dining moments take your car, and turn right at the exit ;o) (a good travel guide will help).
Remember you can have some snacks and pizzas at the bar. All are good for the money.
And of course you have a kitchen on your room too !
Sports animations are fine: aquagym, traditional gym, fitness club (well equiped)... All is included in the price: enjoy !
Scuba diving is not included (as far as I know) but the team is very cool. You can discover the scuba diving in the pool if you want. Teachers explain the basis of the sport two or three time a week for newbies (please don't laught too loud when you saw them with bootle, mask and palms in the small bath of the pool!).
Beware you can't rent jetskis and drive it alone. You have to join the next group and follow the guide. It was not my "cup of tea" so I've resigned.
conclusion:
Certainly the best place for the money I've visit from know.
If you plan familly vacations consider this place and Nouvelles Frontiere organisation.
Night entertainments are not marevelous but certainly you'lle gona be to tired to enjoy disco dancing till dawn.
The club mediterranée hotel is far on top of this one (trick: you can access the club Med hotel for one day if you want to make your idea) but price it's not the same and smallest is sometimes preferable in my point of view.
One more point: don't go to Pierre & vacance residence without inquiring about political and "syndical strike" situation on the island.
