Le Diwali was a nice surprise in every way, the room was small but clean and cosy, the bathroom was nice and spacious (although yes, maybe a bit unpractical with the freaky fawcett which threw the water on the floor each time you used it...) and the entire hotel was charming in its own non-hotelish kind of way.
The breakfast is something that I still miss, simple and easy but oh so good; fresh fruit, freshly baked bread, freshly squeezed juice and nice strong coffee to go with it. All this right on the beach with a gorgeous view - what a great way to start off the day.
St Anne was pretty but really small and does not give you much to see or do for more than a few days. We only stayed for 2 nights as we travelled on to StFrancois, Dehaies and Les Saintes - all nice places to see, especially Les Saintes.
Pity about the crappy/ non existant (after 7 pm) restaurants, or then they just weren't for us. Was expecting some nice creole food, but only got a poor imitation of french food...
AWESOME beach, a real gem!
