This hotel is well located and the owners provide excellent service -- filtered water, a public computer, and a lovely breakfast. They also referred us to an excellent taxi driver we used to go to other parts of the island. The hotel is charmingly decorated and has a fantastic rooftop garden. The room we were in was small but extremely comfortable and the air conditioning worked well and was quiet. There is wireless access and a phone in the room. Televisions are small, but you're not there to watch TV! Overall, I highly recommend it.

I stayed at Atarazana for several days at the end of October and I have nothing but praise for this place. Very clean, quite and secure. Staff is great and welcoming and helpful. Rooms are cozy and very nice and the whole place has a great ambience. The breakfast is delicious and very fresh. This is a great place to stay when visiting the Colonial Zone and the place deserves its top rating at Tripadvisor.

I stayed here before and after my fantastic eco-tour with Explora!. Bernard the architect owner has created beautiful, whimsical, well designed spaces; from the rooftop terrace, indoor and outdoor eating spaces with great breakfast and afternoon fruit smoothies, and comfortable rooms. There is wireless access and a common-use computer, A/C, easy access to many restaurants and attractions. Susanne is the operating owner, and oversees all the details and logistics that make for a comfortable stay. I am so glad i stayed here!

Although you may not know it by it's inconspicuous exterior there is no way to won't fall in love with every part of this beautiful hotel. The staff, the rooms, the location, the rooftop, the open-air patio! Every aspect of our stay way picture perfect. I must say the best part was the owner's cat making herself at home on our balcony. We especially appreciated Suzanne (owner) and her lovely staff catering to all of our needs and being the most fantastic hosts. If you don't speak Spanish you will be comfortable.
