overall it was good ,stayed in the Casa which I belief was once a house had a living room kitchen area plus 2 closed rooms, would be cool if you were 2 couples but had no problem with the neighbors. Not aplace to bring kids not much to do , food was decent, love the coffee and cheese and cuba bread , I could live off that alone. Took a taxi into town and we walked back, so you are pretty close. They charge 20cuc for a towel but you get it back, there was plenty of chairs at the beach, bring your own big thermo cup cause the plastic cups are very small 1 can of beer can fill 21/2 cups to give you an idea.Dislikes was the line up at 130 to get a reservation people would go early and wait, plus alittle more hustling on the beach maybe because it's close to towngo if you get a dael

Room Tip: hotel room have view of water

“Decent hotel, terrible service”

The hotel looks nice, especially for Cuban standards.
The beach and swimmingpool look great and provide a good spot for sunning and drinks. Also the rooms are decent.

The problem is with the service of the staff. A lot of the staff I had encounters with are just plain rude and are not willing at all to help you. People at the front desk just walk away in the middel of checking in or take a phone call while talking to you. Promises are not being kept and the personal at the a la carte restaurant are even rude to you on purpose, because we had a special request for seating.

I would suggest finding a beter hotel in the area, since there are plenty of good resorts here.

“You get what you make out of it.”

Guys, you already know Cuba is infamous for their food - so lower your expectations and don't expect high standard food!!!

Villa Cuba has amazing, friendly staff. The vibe at the resort was like a huge, happy family.

Entertainment: There is always nightly entertainment and entertainment during the day by the pool bar and at the beach you will find some morning activities. The last bar closes at 2AM at the discoteque - ALSO: Be sure to check out the bar on the NINTH floor (closes at 1AM)

Food: They serve hamburgers, grilled cheese, hot dogs etc. behind the pool bar and closes at 7AM!!! Perfect for those late night outing munchies!!! Be sure to book a la carte restaurants (there is three to choose from) and of course there is the buffet (there is also one by the beach).

There is a bank a few minutes walk towards Internacionale hotel (I would advise that you exchange your cash there - not at the resort), across the street from Villa Cuba is a castle looking building where you can ride a horse for 15 pesos for one hour. You can rent a moped just outside of the resort - where the mopeds are parked.

The only reason why I would rate the quality of my sleep a 3/5 is because there was construction going on by room, but regardless of this it was still a fun, enjoyable, relaxing trip!

Great beach, Great Weather, Great Staff - Definitely my money's worth.

I love this place!! The beach is awesome, the pool is beautiful and the people who work there are so nice. The food is ok, but you have to remember you are in Cuba so you do the best you can with what you have. I would go back here in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: The villas are nice because some of them have their own pools. They also have 110 so you can charge...

“GREAT FOR THE MONEY, GETTING EVEN BETTER”

HAD a great visit,my 4th time to veradero, food was so so as expected, but healthy and no one suffered from it. the hotel is being renovated, my room, 1610 was new and perfect. I saw one of the old rooms and they looked a little tired. the villas look nice but did hear a few complaints, such as ants. the top floor room are completed, ask for one of those. it like most hotels in veradero are not great for people who expect to stay on the resort the entire time, but are a great place to come back to after a day of exploring and excursions. again the price was most excellent. entertainment was ok most nights. location is one of the best. would not pay more than $730 including tax for 7 days.

Room Tip: top floor as 2600 or 1600 series rooms. until renos done anyway.
