“Great Location. A Home from Home”

We stayed here twice during our fortnight visit to Cuba. First we stayed the day we arrived for one night before we headed off and then we had another night when we returned to Havana before returning home.
Raymond and Rocky the little dog who patrols the hallway wagging his tail made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
The Casa is tastefully decorated with huge ceilings and a comfy layout. The rooms are comfortable and the beds were just what we needed after a long flight from Europe.
The breakfast of tropical fruit, Coffee and perfectly scrambled eggs are to be commended. Very tasteful and wonderfully presented. We were all set to explore La Habana.
The Casa is also perfectly located, one street back from Calle Obispo and all the sights were 5 to 10 minutes walk away.
As we had a late flight returning home there was no problem leaving our luggage and returning to pick it up after lunch and sightseeing. We were even offered use of the shower and facilities.
So much more enjoyable than staying in a generic hotel.
To be recomended.

“A boutique hotel in old Havana!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

This was the last casa we stayed in during our month in Cuba, and it was in a class of it's own: stylish, beautifully decorated and very well-refurbished. It's in a big, old flat that's been totally renovated, but still with the beautiful original floor tiles. It's just one street over from Obispo street, the busiest/most touristy street in Old Havana, so a great central location, but it's very quiet and we slept very well (comfortable beds and SOFT pillows). Raidel, Luisa and Ali (if I got the name right) looked after us very well, from great breakfasts to taking us to the best nail salon in the neighbourhood! I can really recommend this casa if you're looking for something special.

“Perfect casa to explore Old Havana!”

We stayed at this casa for 3 nights in December 2011. We originally tried to book another casa, which was full and were referred to this casa instead. Well, we are so glad that happened, as this was the best casa we stayed in Cuba (we stayed in 3 casa particulares and a hotel during our stay in Cuba.

The location is perfect for exploring Old Havana area - just a stone's throw from Obispo Street and very convenient for sightseeing etc. There are lots of bars and restaurants around as well.

The room was big enough and the bathroom was very clean, which is a luxury in Cuba.

The owner Raydel was so friendly - he helped us find a place to stay when we changed our plan and needed to stay for an extra night in Havana (as his place was full) and even walked us there to make sure we got there OK. He also let us leave our luggage at his place for 2 days while we visited other places in Cuba.

This is the fist casa we stayed in Cuba, and I could not have had a better start of our holiday!

Would Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Old Havana:) Great value for money.

Really nice and super clean place to stay in the heart of old Havana. I definitely recommend it. The owner is lovely and very helpful. The location is perfect, the price is very good and it is the quietest place we stayed in. I would go back there for sure.

Not only I was made felt like at home but also safe and comfortable. Raydel and Luisa made every possible effort to please us, they gave us many pieces of advice about the city and the Cubans. Breakfast was excellent, lunch and dinner made at request too. Very clean and fully restored. They made our first trip to Cuba truly unique. Can't wait to go back, gracias!!

Room Tip: All very good
