It's only 10 rooms, each one different and #7 is one of the best . . . but what a completely perfect holiday experience, with our every whim and fancy taken care of with a smile, a kind word, and with efficiency that larger more well known hotels could take a lesson or two from. Cafe Luna, on the roof deck, serving three meals daily with the most flexible dining hours and with your choice of dining under the stars or under cover, is a magical experience capped with great service a diverse menu and a gourmet dining experience without being whacked upside the head with an outrageous check! We dined there several times during the week, why? Why not? The view, the food and service is unparalleled. The beach is across the street and a quick 100 yards walk (or they'll lend you a bike so you can ride, except by the time one gets up to speed to avoid falling off, you're already there!) Hendy will bring beach chairs for you and the hotel supplies the beach towels. The sand is soft and white as snow and the water with sandy bottom is about 83 degrees and turquoise clear! The beach is never crowded and there's always a spot to relax under the shade of fully grown trees. Sandy and Cherrise and the other ladies at the desk will arrange anything for you and are very knowledgeable about the island. The rooms are equipped with everything you could possibly need. What more can I say, but thanks Little Arches and to your exceptional team whose dedication is unsurpassed!

Don't tell anyone, but we're going back!

Thought long and hard before writing this review because we plan to return soon, and would like the rates to stay the same. With that being said, it may have been the best hotel experience we've ever had. We stayed in room 6 (Petite Nevis). It wasn't incredibly large, but had a little two-top table and a vanity with a chair. The bathroom is pretty small, but the shower is a good size (give the water a bout 90 seconds to get hot on the first day).
The staff is excellent. I'm fairly certain that there was a 1 to 1 staff/guest ratio during our entire stay. The staff will do anything for you. They set up excursions for us, brought breakfast to our room on days that we had early excursions, handled rental car arrangements, brought drinks out to the pool, everything. I saw a few earlier reviews about breakfast being sub-par. I'm not sure if the reviewers were very picky(We're not particularly high-maintenance travelers and get a kick out of people making a scene over something stupid) or if the staff worked on this, but our experience was fantastic. We stayed a week, so our stay included breakfast every day (recommended). We did our best to try everything on the menu. I personally liked everything except the Marlin bagel (not badly prepared, the sauce was just not really my thing). People who want to be close to touristy stuff may want to look elsewhere. Enterprise beach is more of a local spot (plus it’s only $1 US to get anywhere in the reggae van). We, however, couldn't have enjoyed it more. The locals are incredibly friendly. The hotel is a very short walk to Oistins. We love fresh seafood, so we ate there three of our seven nights. The staff may be required to tell you to take the "long way" to Oistins after dark, but we found that even the guys playing dominos in the dark alley at 2:00am were delightfully nice. We ate Café Luna twice, and it was pretty good (more on their page). In closing, we are real people that had a blast in Barbados. Feel free to message us if you have any questions. And if the staff is reading this, thanks so much again from John & Wendy (May 2012). We’ll see you again soon!! PS: Sorry about accidentally taking the room keys with us to the airport. It was nice of your guy to come grab them.

Our week spent at Little Arches Boutique Hotel in Christ Church, Barbados was AWESOME! Little Arches Hotel is a small luxury boutique hotel with only 10 rooms - making it quiet and romantic! We stayed in an ocean view suite with our own private pool! DIVINE! Dining at the rooftop restaurant - Cafe Luna - provided a magnificent ocean view and delicious food served by friendly and personable staff! The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They did everything possible to make our stay memorable! The staff was helpful and arranged tours & taxi service and made dinner reservations for us. Miami Beach was beautiful and we loved having our own "cabana boy" to deliver and set up our lounge chairs on the beach each day! Impeccable service was provided daily by the staff at Little Arches! We can't wait to return to Barbados and Little Arches Boutique Hotel!

We spent ten nights in room 7. This is a lovely spacious room with views of the sea and pool deck. Wonderful hotel with people so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. If you get the chance, go on the Silver Moon trip it is not to be missed. Oistens fish fry on Fridays is an experience and try the roti's at 'Mr Delicious' on Enterprise beach! This beach is fabulous! Thanks to all at Little Arches for making our stay total relaxation. Lovely food at Cafe Luna. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Little Arches during our honeymoon recently and both agree the hotel and restaurant offered us the very best experience possible. All of the staff were so warm and inviting from the moment we arrived. The views of Miami beach and the cliffs were unbelievable - easy to see why the hotel offers wedding services. The sound of the waves was immensly relaxing while lounging on the roof-covered couches by the pool. The area was quite quiet - meaning the dead-end street got little car or foot traffic despite Miami Beach having warm and beautiful turquoise-colored water, and smooth sand. We had the great fortune of staying in room 8, which was the perfect room for us - very private and spacious (inside as well as out on the deck) with your own private hot tub and lounge-style loveseat, which were covered to offer pleasing shade during the warm days we were there. The style and small touches made the room pleasant to spend so much time in.

Cafe Luna offered some wickedly delicious entrees including the Seafood Linguine, which included the freshest and best tasting fish I've ever enjoyed.

We rented a car for part of the time we stayed and despite Bridgetown being so busy and a large number of roundabouts, it was pretty enjoyable. Being from the US, it was an interesting experience to (legally) drive on the left side of the road, but it really wasn't difficult at all. We loved visiting Mullin's Beach, the Bathsheba tide pools, the Animal Flower Cave and just exploring the island. The sea turtle excursion by Silver Moon was to die for!

It was tough to find pictures of the hotel online to get a good sense of what the place was like, but I think this contributed to an almost overwhelming pleasant surprise when we finally arrived. After 5 nights, we wished we could've taken up permanent residence.
I won't say you won't notice some things others have talked about - planes flying in and a boat that parks in the bay for a bit - but these did not detract from our stay in any noticable way. Not that it woke us, but I would note the restaurant on the 2nd floor opens at 7am, which inevitably meant hearing chairs dragged and scooted across the floor as people were seated if already awake.
