And I knew I wouldn't be disappointed! The atmosphere is simply great. Food is great too and the location perfect, especially if you like to get back in touch with nature. Nice and tranquil location ideal for a rest but also not too far away from beautiful stunning views and places to see.
The room I stayed in was nice and spacious and I even had an en-suite bathroom this time! Daniela and Colin are very friendly and very careful to make sure their guests have an fab experience. I highly recommend.

My wife and I travelled from Doncaster to The Great Glen for a long weekend for our anniversary and we could not have picked a more idealic place to stay, the family run guest house offers a high standard of cleanliness, tummy busting breakfast and an abundance of friendliness that when you leave you feel as though you are leaving family behind. We will certainly return to The Great Glen and we could not conside staying anywhere else, we both highly reccomend a stay here, it will be the icing on a superb holiday in one of the most beautiful places on earth, easy to find and has ample parking. So go on book in, you will not regret it I promise

I've been in this hotel in the month of July and I was really surprised by the willingness of the owners and the care of every detail! The rooms are clean and spacious with every comfort. All rooms are equipped with DVD player and free Internet access. There are a lot of DVDs, all kinds of books and board games! But what is most pleasing for us was the breakfast is typically Italian with plenty of good Italian espresso! To enliven the atmosphere were the smiles of the two daughters of Colin and Daniela! An unforgettable holiday!

We stayed here with our children ( 2 and 10) and really had a wonderful time. The lodge is in beautiful location, quiet and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and always paid extra attention to our little one as they have children as well so it was nice for them to play together. This is in a great location for walks and family relaxing time and the view of the country side is amazing. We enjoyed the bbq as well and my daughter really loved a nice and healthy home made breakfast. After a week spent there, this became my husband favorite holiday destination and we can't wait to go back.
