When we were 25 we would've thought this was the greatest place ever. As parents of 11 and 14 year olds, it just doesn't fit. Morgan and Richard were very nice, but it is what it is - a place for 20-somethings on an adventure.

The fishing trip was pretty cool. When we got back at sunset, the crew of two built a fire, cleaned the fish, prepared them with plenty of garlic, grilled and served them up for dinner.

This is the coolest jungleesque hostel I've stayed at, right on the lake and excellent reasonably priced food which makes up for the distance from Moyogalpa. The hosts were super helpful and awesome all round. I loved it. Hard to leave.

I loved, loved, LOVED little morgans!! The staff (especially the lovely RIchard), were so kind, helpful and accommodating. The food was delicious, the music was great, and we felt like our beautiful dorm above the main room was a private treehouse. The location is spectacular and the atmosphere is just perfect. I would recommend this hostel to anyone!!

We have great memories of a stay here in January 2011- great location, party place, but also quiet and relaxing. Beautiful setting, views, wildlife, creative wooden buildings. They didnt have a private room so book ahead if you want one. We ended up in the amazing dorm building in a double bed. It was actually really private set in a little nook (although obviously no funny business allowed!). beds are fine and good value (14 bucks I think).
One of the nicest things about little morgans is the people / atmosphere. As soon as we arrived the staff learnt our names along with at least 25 other guests- I dont know how they do it but it definately helps make everyone feel at ease and be sociable in the dining/ drinking/lounge area. they run a tab and you pay at the end of your stay. Guests add to the genial atmosphere as little morgans seems to attract people who want to be sociable - we love these kind of places because it's often difficult to meet people hen travelling in a couple.
