Hotel far from city center of Kopenhagen. No aircondition in rooms - means open windows. Room to the street - noise from the street, room to the back - noise from the highway/ supply facility system. Ugly dirty small dark bathrooms (bring bathshoes!) old, overused furniture. breakfast room with paper tableclothe, instand juce and unreal scrambled eggs (instand egg). Not my choice ever again! even if its cheap. only good thing: friendly staff and free WIFI

It looks like the usual scandic but the rooms are small and dated. The bathroom was old and in a poor state of repair. The worst part was the smell from the drains.
The bar is dark and dated but the saving grace was the food which was very good.
Overal, poor for a scandic and it needs updating.

I was at th Scandic Hvidovre for about 9 days in Jun 2009. The hotel was I thought quite decent with good facilities. It was very clean and cozy. We had our conference here and the facilities were good for this.

State of Room:
Linen and towels were clean. Bed frame had faded yellow patches. Behind the curtains there were big, black patches of water damaged and some very intriguing rather large cobwebs filled with tick dust. The wall had yellow sticky (glue) marks. Smaller cobwebs was found behind bed, desk and behind the easy chair. The toilet was in desperate need to be de-scaled, with a areas of yellow lime scale in the toilet bowl. Some tiles were broken. The shower cubicle has clearly visible areas of black mould along the sealant.

Hotel in General:
Several holes / worn patches on the carpet in the corridor. Concrete floor was visible underneath several of them. Several scratches / black rubber marks walls in corridor.

Service:
Ok. Nothing special.
Breakfast:
Ok. Standard. Nothing worth mentioning.
Location:
Next to Motorway. A fast food restaurant and petrol station and a small food store.

Overall Verdict:
I am sorry but I am ashamed this is a Scandic Hotel. There is no reason to stay here unless you have to. And even then, I would not recommend it to anyone. Try to avoid it. It’s not worth the rate. It’s not anything fit for Danish Hospitality. I only reason I was there was because the company had booked it.

PS. I didn't even dare to visit the Fitness centre..... if it kept the same standard as my bathroom.
