The lodge is located in the Grand Teton NP. We stayed in the cabins, not the main lodge. The room was nicely decorated with comfortable beds and chairs. Large bathroom with plenty of towels. Convenient parking in front of the room. The accommodations are much nicer than you find in most national parks. The rooms are little pricey and they have a limited cancellation policy, but it is all about location. The main lodge is a short walk. The lodge has an unbelievable view of the mountains. As you climb the stairs to the main room of the lounge you encounter a window facing the mountains that is as wide as the building. The bar also has a full view of the mountains. Lodge has 2 dining rooms. We ate in the causal dining room and had a nice meal. The menu is primarily American. They also have take out from this dining room. The back patio is great for viewing Moose and Elk in the morning. While we stayed there we saw several heard of Elk in the valley below the patio in the morning. Their guest relations desk is very informative about activities like horse back riding, etc. It was a memorable experience staying there while visiting the park.

We stayed in the "retro" Jackson Lake Cottages (no a/c or TV) on the same property as the Lodge. The main problem with the room was the presence of mosquitoes. I observed the international youth "maids" leaving the cottage doors open while they serviced the rooms allowing mosquitoes to enter. For the money we paid, I'd encourage others to plan ahead and try for rooms in the lodge.

My husband, parents and I all stayed here during our visit to GTNP, YNP and GNP. I cannot say enough about the spectacular views. The room itself was clean, large and comfortable, but we spent very little time in the room. Location is everything and I'm so glad we decided to spend our one night in GTNP at Jackson Lake Lodge!

My husband and I stayed at the Jackson Lake Lodge in one of their patio cottages during our trip to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. We could hear the wolves howling in the middle of the night! The lodge's main lobby with it's spectacular view of the Tetons was a favorite place to hang out between our hiking and touring. Pets are allowed, and although we left ours home for this trip I would do it again and stay here with them. Free wi-fi is available in the sitting areas in the lobby and with several cafes and bars, it's a good place to catch up on the events in the real world. Don't miss eating breakfast at the bar in the Pioneer Grill. Great pancakes and the staff are all very informative. The Mural Room, the fine dining room, was great. Diverse menu and great service. Not to mention the view!
