My 3 month stay here, I have had nothing but friendly staff including the cleaners. The breakfast is average but what can you expect for the more than affordable nightly rate?!?! Can't remember the last time I picked a place for specifically its breakfast. The manager personally helped me save grace with a complicated communication breakdown with a clueless business renting scooters. I give many thanks =)
The hallways in this place amplify the sound and the doors don't keep any sound out, so when the drunk Russians come, you hear everything. May have had my worst night's sleep at this place in all of SE Asia. Not a very good location either in Phuket Town. In fact, don't even stay in Phuket Town if you're visiting. The city is much less charming and interesting that I had hoped. Stick to the beaches and pay more.
This hotel should give their photographer a raise. The rooms were not as nice and clean as they looked like in the images. The bed I would not define as a bed. Staff wasn't too friendly and were trying real hard to sell excursion packages, when we just wanted to settle into our room. Wouldn't really recommend it unless you are desperate like we were. The only upside to this hotel is it is minute walk to the fresh market, where you can experience the real thai culture and mingle with some very warm hearted locals.
Rome place is hard to find, unless you pre-book a taxi with them.
It isn't in the most convenient place in Phuket town either - because you won't want to spend much time in the town (because it's hard going, and a generally unpleasant place to be), more to use it as a base to see the rest of Phuket.
Receptionist wasn't really sure what was going on most of the time, but we always got there eventually.
"Breakfast Included" - don't bet on it. There were signs on the walls of what the included breakfast was, we didn't get close to it. At best we were allowed toast 1 day, and at no point did they have both tea AND coffee as a choice.
We had to move rooms half way through our stay, because the lock on the door had worn down, and the key no longer turned the barrel. After 90 minutes of the maintenance guy sawing the lock off, we were moved to a room where the bed was only 5ft long (a problem unless you're a child or a hobbit).
Don't believe the photos they give you either - both our rooms looked like the scene from an 80's horror film.

Top Tip
If you have to stay here, you might want a room on a higher floor.
The photos shared while booking the rooms were too good to be true.
The air-conditioner didn't have a remote control and you know what it feels like getting up to adjust temperature.
There were some issues for booking from Hotels.com as they don't recognize hotels.com and it took more than an hour to confirm the booking.
The location is in the Phuket town which isn't a tourist area. It doesn't make sense to stay here unless you have to take a ferry from Rassada pier early in the morning.
The complimentary breakfast had only bread butter, omelet and juice & beverages.
