Booked to stay here 5 nights, after the second night we had to change hotels.
The rooms were tiny and once our luggage was in the room there was no where to move. the shower (which was a very small area, no curtains) did not work. it would only drizzle out cold water.
The owners were very friendly, the pool area is beautiful and the cocktails from the bar were really nice and cheap. that is the only plus on the hotel.
and for people who like to stay connected to loved ones there wi-fi is terrible.

If your not at Ios for only to party, do not go to this hotel!
You can just dream about a good night sleep, since you can hear everything that happens on this hotel. If someone comes home i the middle of the night you will wakeup for sure. If anyone on a different room goes to the toilet, You will know what they are doing there.
If you are ordering through Apollo, don´t! The pictures you see is from the absolutely best room at this hotel, the rest is no good. The bathrom is sooo big that you have to enter the shower to close the door behind you.
Also be prepared to wake up whit a rat in your room, that have entered by the sewage.
The management at the hotel is nice and service mindend, but it is not enough.

The have a very good pool area, but order at Yialos Beach hotel instead, the use the same pool area.
The hotel is close to a nice beach, and close to many restaurants in the port!

We stayed at Petros Place for one week and it was a great stay.

The Hotel area is very beautiful and with a superb pool area with a great pool and a nice poolbar, try the Hamburger. It costs 8 EURO but it's worth it.

The rooms comes in two levels, the buttom has a big balcony and the second floor has a small balcony, with place for max 2 persons.
The rooms are quite small, but it fits a big fridge. The beds are standard hotel beds, you can stand them for a week.

The location of the hotel is very good. Near to a bech at the Harbour and in the Harbour you will find nice restaurants. It takes 10 minutes to walk up to the Villiage,

My last visit to this hotel was back in 1979 it cost £1 per night and I stayed for 3 months.This time we stayed for 3 nights.
The place has been transformed from a very basic backpackers hostel into a nice hotel.
It is made up mainly of two story maisonette type rooms around the well designed pool area and gardens.
The rooms are clean and tidy with a fridge and TV with one English channel (BBC world news.) with a small balcony with table and chairs overlooking the gardens and pool.
The hotel is a short walk from the Yialos beach /port area with plenty of eating places or you can get the bus up to the main town up the hill.
There is also a paved path up to the Town for the fit and healthy which take 10-15 mins to walk.
We did not have breakfast or any meals here.
Ios itself has changed quite a bit since my last visit, and now has more than one road so it is a good idea to hire a car for the day and head off exploring the Island. We were charged 30euros for 24 hours.
