We stayed in Tisara Villas for six nights and can recommend it highly! It's the perfect place to unwind and relax after long hours of travel on the island. Service and food are excellent and amongst the best we have experienced during our many travels in South Asia.

Rooms are very cleand and fitted with AC and mosquito nets. Each villa has a private garden with access to the communal pool. Our meals were served on our private terrace. Food was excellent, fresh and lovingly prepared. The curries were amongst the best we have eaten in Sri Lanka!

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of our honeymoon travels. This place is in a lovely location - it is found in the very quiet, sleepy town of Habaraduwa, on the Southern coast of Sri Lanka. The villa complex is just a few minutes walk away from the small local shops where you can buy fresh fruit & veg, bread, milk & other necessities. It is about a 10 minute walk away from the beautiful and quite isolated beach. The villas are about a 10 minute tuk-tuk ride away from the beautiful Koggala lake, which is also worth a visit.

The villa complex is elegant and beautiful. We stayed in Villa 3, which has 2 large double bedrooms, each with a very spacious ensuite which has a pergola (and so is partly open to the outside), a big dining & living area and a kitchen, and a lovely private garden where you can sit and drink tea, read a book and just unwind. There is a swimming pool in the complex, which is clean and well maintained, and was one of the nicest pools we have swum in. There is also a laundry (free) and a massage centre. There is a very cheap (but fast) internet cafe a few minutes walk away from the villas. The villa is serviced every day by the very friendly, polite, hardworking guys, and you can either cook your own meals or have them prepared by the chefs who are brilliant!

This place is perfect if you want to get away from the stress and busy-ness of life as we know it, and would like to just unwind and really feel at peace. It is also an opportunity to experience life in a typical Sri Lankan village, which you do when you step out of the villa complex. The locals are incredibly warm and friendly.

Stayed a few times at Tisara and it is great value compared to everything else close to Galle. We have young kids and the service at Tisara makes such a difference, plus being in its own private walled area means you have peace and quiet and can properly relax. Great swimming pool.
Highly recommended

Approximately 800 meters away from the main road, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life was our new abode for the next few days. Pleasing environment with lush greenery in foliage, well laid out villas with generous space with private garden.
The pool is refreshing and we happened to be there on a Full Moon night which was awesome with dinner outdoors.
Though there is a pantry for your own cooking pleasure it was comforting to know that one could get a cook to deliver a meal at short notice. The staff are helpful and obliging.
Ayurvedic massages, also available just to add to the essence of being completely relaxed. Just a trishaw ride away from the Unawatuna Beach for those seeking a bit of sun and sand
