Basic no frills hotel with a helpful and friendly staff. Nice neighborhood and good location between Ibiza city and Playa den Bossa. The food was not my cup of tea but we didn't care. Ibiza has very good restaurants. Also, if you like to hang out in the bars and the disco's, breakfast is served way to early. But that's very personal of course and their are enough excellent places to enjoy a late breakfast or a breakfast for party people around the hotel.

After our first staying in 2006 we decided do book it again. We spent wonderful 12 days in June 2009 for the second time and surely not for the last time. The hotel is not new but well kept. the rooms are clean and big enough for two persons. Our room was on 6th floor with fantastic seaview on the figueretas beach. The room has 2 single beds, tiny TV-set, big closet, spacious bathroom (bath and shower, bidet ;-), hair-dryer, etc.). The furniture is not the newest. I would say from 70s or 80s. but you have all that you need. Besides, we are on Ibiza not for staying in hotel-room and watch TV.
We booked a half-board with breakfast and dinner. The breakfast ist ok, a bit monotonous. The diner varied a bit and we had every night different sort of meat, fisch, vegetables, salads, starters and desserts. Every night there was a special local spanish meal (paella, tapas, crema catalan etc.). Very good and attentive servie both in restaurant and at the front-desk.
The location of the hotel is just top - direktly at the beach and withing 10-15 min walking distance from Ibiza-Town with its numerous bars, cafes, restaurants, clubs and shops. there is also its own pool (openning hours from 9 am till 18 pm). We did not use it, since we went every day to the most wonderfull beach of Es Cavallet with its nude and gay section - The driving time to it is about 15 min.
On the opposite side of the street there ist a small gym and as hotel guest you can use it gratis as well.

Stayed at the Ibiza Playa Hotel as a party of 6 (3 rooms). Our rooms were on the 4th and 5th floors and had great views of the beach. Breakfast (included) was nothing fancy but had the usual hot/cold buffet stuff. Front desk folks were friendly enough, and helpful with tours, postage for postcards, etc. Hotel is not luxurious, but perfectly adequate.
It's location is the best part - right on the beach, with a saltwater pool as well. Easy walk to Ibiza Town for shopping and restaurants, although there are some decent places to eat on the beach very near the hotel. There is also a fantastic restaurant called Civet (on Calle Murcia, maybe 10 min. walk away) where the service and food was 4-star but the prices were cheaper than other inferior places we ate during the trip. A day-trip boat to Formentera (which you must see for the crystal clear water and white beaches) departs from in front of the hotel.
Is a bit of a cab ride (think about 30 euros) to San Antonio if you're seeking Cafe del Mar and all that. Personally I got tired of all the hustling and British accents there and was happy to get back to our area which felt more Spanish :-)

The hotel is well-situated and in walking distance to the nice beach Playa d'en Bossa (15 minutes) and to Ibiza city (10 minutes). You'll find a moto rental and a gym just a few meters away. Between the hotel and the beach, there is only the car-free promenade. Rooms are clean, furniture is rather new, beds are comfortable. Bathroom has *** comfort. Service at the reception was okay and friendly, but not outstanding. Since we didn't have breakfast or dinner at the hotel, I cannot comment on that.
