We really enjoyed our stay at Agincourt Apartments. We didn't stay in the front beachfront apartments, but had a beautiful view of the gardens and pool - and some of the ocean was visible too from our balcony. February isn't a particularly nice time to visit Cairns (hot, humid, lots of rain, beaches can't be swam in, some businesses were closed) - but Agincourt was so lovely to stay in that we had a perfect holiday.
Craig and Petra were great hosts and we really enjoyed chatting to them, but honestly, the apartments were so well appointed that we didn't need to ask for anything. The modern and attractive rooms are big and bright and airy. I loved the comfortable king-sized bed (no partner disturbance) and spacious bedroom. The washing machine, dishwasher etc was simple to use, which was a big bonus. The kitchen was so conveniently stocked - birthday candles in the bottom drawer, gladwrap and alfoil in another, enough salad bowls, crockery, cutlery etc.
Agincourt even have an outdoor 'library', with books that can be used during the stay.
We loved the location of Agincourt too. Clifton Beach is a beautiful part of Cairns, that is in close proximity to other popular beaches such as Palm Cove.
The pool is great. It's big and is surrrounded by gorgeous gardens. We met an English couple that stay regularly, that love how the pool is heated in cooler months.
We have stayed in many apartments - and Agincourt surpasses them all. Beautiful apartments with lovely hosts. We definitely hope to stay again, especially when weather in Cairns is more favourable.
