This was quite a nice Hotel we were fortunate to have a room with a huge balcony (despite not having time to sit on it) The room was a good size, the Bathroom was a little dated (cracked tiles and the water was slow to drain away) but clean and the beds were comfortable. The Breakfast was quite good (eggs and bacon ) Wow.!! But Coffee service was slow. There is an indoor pool but again touring with Cosmos didnt give us time to relax in it.

Dont think these people stayed in the same hotel it was filthy we have pictures of the mould on the bath and the disgusting plug holes. The hair dryer didnt work and they took forever to replace it will never stay here again

We stayed at this facility for two nights during our tour with Brenden/Trafalgar towards the end of our trip. We had group accomodations so check-in and check-out were very easy. Our room had a balcony overlooking the rolling countryside which was very nice and the balconies made for good gathering places to mingle with other travelers on our tour in the evenings. Make sure you request a room with a balcony overlooking the back of the hotel and not the parking lot. The pool looked very inviting but by the time we had dinner and got back from the City it was closed (9pm) which I thought was too early and they should have let the young folks have some time the first night when they did not know the schedule. The bar was also not very well stocked the first night we were at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and we slept fine on the beds. We had two breakfasts and one dinner at the hotel which were good for a group meal but not fine dining. The hotel is away from the City which as has been noted has positives and negatives depending on what you are looking for. The drive to the hotel is very beautiful but once you get to the hotel you are pretty much limited to being at the hotel unless you arrange for transportation. We did not have to do this as our tour took us we checked in and had dinner and drinks the first night and ate in the City and came back later the second night. Overall it was the most relaxing hotel on our tour and I would suspect a good place if you want to get away for a retreat or quiet weekend. My son was also able to use the internet connection for a fee.

This was our third time staying at this hotel. Each time they have made significant improvements to the property. The value for the money is wonderful. My kids always enjoy swimming in the indoor pool after a long day sight-seeing. The property is in a tranquil setting and it is so relaxing. The breakfast is excellent and the shuttle service is timely and pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to see nearby Florence and stay in a more relaxing setting. It is not necessary to have a car but it is very helpful and more convenient. The staff are very helpful and good English is spoken. They informed us that there will be an outdoor pool built soon as well as spa services. Grazie Hotel Demidoff!
