I spent 3 nights in this small hotel and my travel-mate and I were satisfied about it. Having the bus station on the front and Fondo's "downtown" on the back,the hotel is very well located. You can also rent a garage or park very close if you are by car. The atmosphere is quite friendly and on Christmas days a lot of guests come back to this hotel, after years, the owner is very polite and even a little bit scary going around asking if everything is ok. Our room was cosy and small (we had a standard one) with a very good toilet. I would say it was a little bit cold, but you have a lot of extra-blankets and there are common rooms if you want to spend more time inside the hotel. And I suggest you to do that: there is a small but comfortable wellness center with a small swimming pool, sauna, etc. It was included in our package,while the internet wi-fi is quite expensive. We had dinner there and it's quite good: very familiar and you can try typical food from the area, while the breakfast is standard (ham, cheese, cereals,milk,etc...). I would recommend it as a good chance to visit the valley both in the winter and in the summer.

Travelled on a coach tour, used this hotel very impressed, the staff were very helpful, the food was Exellent. Would recommend it.

We arrived tired and hungary after a long coach trip to a lovely meal of home cooked food, well prepared and served, our room was lovely in a traditional style, comfortable bed the room was clean and well laid out.
We spent every day going on trips arriving back every evening to a well cooked dinner the home made pasta was superb, we even had a cookery demo one night. Walter the owner was a great host we went on an organised trip and would definately go again

The Lady Maria Hotel is situauted in the quiet of Fondo in the heart of the val di non.
We have been back five times to this hotel and have always enjoyed the atmosphere and, friendliness of staff and owner. The rooms are certainly of a nice size. As you might expect it is a small italian village but there is public transport available and plenty of breathtaking walks and views to see. There is also the canyon rio sass to walk trough which is beautiful at any time. Also it is reasonably situated to the Grand and Brenta dolimites for sking.
There's nothing to dislike about staying here, as food is always at a high standard, you can have as much as you like. Walter and staff are fantastic and make you feel very welcome and treat you as family.
Also the sister hotel is the Hotel Panorama which is situated close by in Malosco. This is owned by Grace, wWalter's sister. This again is of the same high standard in which the bonvicin family make sure their guests are happy . Both hotels also offer the wellness centre's which include pool, spa, massage etc...Ideal for relaxing after long beautiful walks.
we will be difinitely going back again!!!!
