Of all the places we have stayed at over the years (home and abroad) this is by far the best place in the planet! Mary & Patsy are two of the grandest people you could ever hope to meet and thier lovely niece is just as precious. The place was spotlessly clean, well maintained and beauitifully decorated. Breakfast was just amazing and with a nice selection of meal choices in a beautiful dining area overlooking the coutryside. We were greeted with homemade baked goodies, tea and coffee and had a lovely chat with our hosts. You felt like you were talking to your best friends! Actually I was a little jealous reading the other reviews that stated the same thing because I thought 'we' were the #1 guests! Just goes to show that Mary and Patsy have have that special way of making you feel as if you are truly one of their dearest friends. I actually cried a bit when we pulled out because I didn't want to say goodbye! If we ever come back to Ireland.. this will be a definite repeate! By the way, Mary makes the best Irish coffee ever!! We can't think of one solitary negative thing to say about this lovely place. It is perfect in every way and you will never find a better place to stay. I originally thought we were coming to the Cliffs of Moher & the Aran Islands, but it turned out to be so much more, thanks to our lovely hosts. We will truly miss this place!

Moher Lodge is conveniently located close to the Cliffs of Moher and Doolin where some of the ferries to the Aran Islands leave. The rooms are spacious and very cozy. The entire B&B is very well kept - everything was spotlessly clean. The hosts - Mary and Patsy are just a delight. Whether you have a special dietary request, need detailed infos or even a quick lift to the cliffs - you name it and they will try to make your wish come true.

My wife and I spent three delightful days in West Clare staying at Moher Lodge. This is one of the best country homes where we have ever stayed. From the moment of our arrival till the day of our departure, mary and Paddy made us feel welcome.

The quality of furnishing, decoration was tasteful. Cleanliness was second to none.
Breakfast contained an extensive range of foods etc and was served in a dining room overlooking the beautiful West Clare scenery.

Mary and Paddy know the area well and their knowledge was invaluable in helping us to enjoy ouir visit.

We have stayed at moher Lodge on two previous occasions and would not go anywhere else, when visiting the area. We recommend it unreservedly.

Second stay at Moher Lodge and still impossible to find any faults. Great position, lovely bright rooms with all the facilities you require, absolutely spotless, great breakfasts .... and most of all, fantastic hosts - Mary and Patsy are so welcoming, friendly and helpful.
