Within the city walls and only a short walk from the souks and the main Place, Dar El Hana is the perfect place to stay. On our arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner and, for the next three days, the ryad provided a calm and peaceful retreat from the noise and bustle of the city. We could come and go as we pleased and the small swimming pool was a welcome bonus. With first class hospitality, comfortable bedrooms (4) and delicious dinners you need look no further when visiting Taroudant.

Recommended by some friends who'd already been to Taroudant several times I arrived at Agadir, grabbed a taxi and headed to Taroudant. Finding Dar-el-Hana was easy enough but I was delighted to find this authentic Riad right in the heart of the walled city. It really has been beautifully restored, keeping all the sense of being in the 'real' Morocco but with all the comforts of a first class hotel. Being a 'maison d'hotes' means the owner lives there too and she was very friendly and even offered evening meals for a bargain price. Excellent food, outstanding surroundings and all the comforts one could wish for. I heartily recommend Dar-el-Hana to all visitors to Taroudant. I wouldn't want small children with me but then I wouldn't want to go to Taroudant with them anyway!
