“As close to paradise as you can get”

My family and i stayed in the Kantary Bay Hotel for the 1st time during December 2011 and January 2012 although we have visited their sister hotel Cape Panwa on 4 previous occasions.Upon arrival we were greeted by the manager and manageress with refreshments and a prompt check in whilst are luggage was placed in our room. The hotel boasts idillic sea views of the Andaman and beautiful gardens below the various blocks.the rooms are modestly spacious with seperate sitting area large balcony small kitchen with microwave, hob and washing machine and a decent size bathroom with bath and seperate shower cubicle. The breakfast caters for every cuisine and taste and the friendly staff are only too happy to go out their way to provide you with anything you may require.the restaurants are also excellent and range from Thai,French,Italian, continental and even a specialist seafood restaurant.the hotel is situated just a short taxi ride from the hussle and bussle of Phuket town which the hotel staff will happily provide, the hotel also provide excursions at very competitive rates.the kantary boasts 2 pools but also provides a shuttle bus service to the Panwa hotel pool and the beach and runs from 7.00am until midnight for anyone not fit or brave enough to tackle the hill. The hotel, location and staff make the experience impossible not to like hence we have booked holiday number 6 for christmas 2012/2013

“Great hotel with excellent staff and spectacular views”

My husband and I have just returned from our first holiday at Kantary Bay and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We e-mailed the hotel prior to our visit and asked if we could have a room higher than ground floor and possibly with a view, we were allocated room 331 on the Bayside wing which has a lovely view of the gardens and sea - perfect.. Our apartment had a fully fitted kitchen with all cutlery and crockery, and a microwave, kettle and toaster. We had a lovely lounge area with a huge TV, a very large bedroom with big comfortable twin beds, loads of storage space and a big bathroom with bath, toilet and a huge walk-in shower cubicle, there was even a retractable clothes line over the bath which came in very handy for drying smalls. The hotel was beautiful, modern and spotlessly clean, there are two pools, the roof top pool has amazing views over the sea where you can watch some awesome sunsets. The staff are absolutely fabulous, polite, helpful and very friendly. We dined mostly in the hotel or at the Cape Panwa (sister hotel just over the hill) the food was always to a high standard and tasted lovely. The seafood and steak night buffets being my husbands favorite, good value at 720 Baht per person. (although he has now gained a Big Budda belly !) The breakfast was also great with such a good variety available. We also ate the Indian just around the corner from the Hotel, we also found this to be very good, although we didnt go in, the Sawasadee restaurant just outside the hotel always appeared to be busy. The shuttle service to Cape Panwa hotel and beach was approximately every ten minutes. There are not many facilities outside of the hotel and therefore if you want a lot of nightlife this would not be the place for you. We did a couple of trips which we booked through the hotel, PHI PHI Island by speed boat 1800 baht per person (barter with them) which we loved, and also a short elephant trek 800 baht per person good fun, but hang on for dear life when it goes down a hill ! All in all one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in which helped to make it one of our best holidays ever, many of the guests return year after year (including my in laws who have been coming here for 16 years - this must say something about how good the hotel is) Thank you very much Kantary Bay Hotel and all of the wonderful staff - missing you all already - hope to see again soon.

Room Tip: Ask for a higher floor if possible as the views are good. The lift stops at floor 3

We stayed here for two nights when we arrives in Phuket. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay to start our holiday off. There was a separate lounge area and kitchen and we had our own balcony as well. Breakfast was good and had a variety of things from Thai to continental and cooked breakfasts. We did not go out in the are around so cannot comment on this however the hotel provided a free shuttle bus to and from the beach which was every 20 mins. Definitely recommend this place is it is comfort you are after

“Can't wait to come back, paradise!!!”

Me and My wife stayed at Kantary bay resort from 28th January to 3rd february and made the best decision to stay at Kantary bay.

Location is the key for the hotel, which is far away from the noise of the phuket town and very near to the nature and sea and offers complete privacy and tranquility. though it is far from town and other piers from where you may go for trips and other activities, but bargain a free pick up from the tour operator and they will give it.

We were welcomed very well by the reception and were explained each and every thing very comfortably on our arrival. Our room was on the bayside wing and the goud floor (132) The room was pretty big with a kitchen and all facalities to make food, a LCD TV and music system, comfortable bed and a lounge. We also had a private jaccuzzi at the backyard which took us for a surprise.

Morning Breakfast buffet is completely continental and the egg man / women can make amazing omletes.

There are few eating places just adjecent to the hotel which serve thai & continental food. There is also an India resturant (LIVE INDIA) and they make amazing food, prices are also very reasonable.

This Place is best if you wish to just relax, as you come out of the hotel and cross the road, you may stroll on the seafront and do some roadside shopping with bargain.

There is a super market operated by the hotel and uncle nan's italian resturant is a must visit.

There are daily transfers to Phuket city @ 130 baht for round trip per person twie in a day (morning 10 and afternoon 2), there are complimentary shuttle service to the cape panwa hotel, which is a sister hotel and very beautiful property, it has private beach and a jetty in case you just need some time alone in water.

The staff is very friendly and supportive.

I strongly reccomend this Hotel.

“A little place in paradise”

We recently returned from our third extended stay at the kantary bay after 3 relaxing weeks! We are now looking to book for longer in 2013. The kantary Bay and its staff is a friendly hotel with great facilities and some spectacular views of the Adaman sea. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by nuri who recognised us immediately and we were quickly booked in and taken to our room in the bayside wing which was perfect for us. The food as always was excellent both in the hotel and at the local restaurants keung lay and sawasdee. We cannot wait to get back next year to see all of the good friends we have made. sawasdee!!
