“Very cosy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 December 2011

This place is wonderful!! The kasbah is on a hill and the scenery is really beautiful!! Inside the kasbah is dark and cosy but the terrace is beautiful with lots of flowers. The owners are really friendly and welcoming!! They have a dog and two cats, which are really friendly too!! Smile is really helpful and attentive. The room has a fire, which will keep you warm. The food is great and they have WIFI too!! I regret not staying longer!! If I come back to Morocco again, I would definatly stay there again.

“nice kasbah not far from demnate”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 December 2011

this kasbah built recentely by crafts men from the berber region of ait boualli, built in the traditional way, built on the way to the central high atlas, and on a very scenic raod which links marrakech and the province of ouarzazate. they have nice rooms, nice garden, a well after donkey.built on a small hill overlooking the north slope of the high atlas.

“Perfect location for some R&R”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 November 2011

We stayed at the Kasbah Timdaf for 2 nights and were sorry to leave.Jacqueline and Yannick have worked hard at providing a balance of Moroccan ambiance which meets European standards and needs. The food was excellent and tastes and preferences negotiated in advance. Provision of ' boissons' ( with nuts and Yannick's olives) was much appreciated in a 'dry' country! We enjoyed ours pre - dinner in the garden. The countryside around is interesting too. It is predominately Berber with shepherds and shepherdesses grazing their flocks. One of the dogs took me for an interesting stroll down a tree lined path at the back of the house. We liked the low key ambiance. We did not participate in any organised activity but amused ourselves. The garden is a great place for reading too.

“little piece of heaven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2010

after a long train trip from England and 3 days in Fez followed by another train trip this was exactly what we needed. Friendly faces, amazing home cooked food and warm comfortable rooms. We were made to feel right at home, we didn't do much as the idea was to unwind but we never grew tired of gazing at the mountains or strolling around the gardens. We had planned to go on a trip in to the mountains on our 2nd day to vist a Burbur tribe and see some pottery works but unfortunatly rain put pay to that and we hadn't come prepared - oh well another relaxing day reading and eating what a shame!
There are a variety of trips you can choose from or just chillout and learn how to cook moroccon food.
The kasbar itself is beautiful and a real credit to the owners who had it built from scratch - really simply decorated with a warmth and style that makes you feel like you are staying in a rustic palace - highly recommended

“Beautiful oasis - wanted to stay longer!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2010

We actually only stopped at Kasbah Timdaf for lunch. It was so lovely and inviting - the lunch was suberb - I wished we had arranged for at least a one night's stay. We definitely will be back to visit Jacqueline & Yannick - and the accompanying dogs and cats! I loved everything about this place.
