I stayed here for a week on a company training course the food was not good! mains are priced at over £10 and are very poor ,tastless, Breakfast was not bad only saviour was a maccy d over the road and a very good local indian takeaway which i had delivered to the hotel they were not happy when i started eating it in the hotel and sent me to my room!
Staff quite friendly overall not bad for a cheapie just avoid dinner !!!!!

Just stopped off for one night, as needed to stay somewhere on my way back from London. Very reasonably priced and a good nights stay.
Friendly and helpful staff. There was a big event on that night at the hotel, so it was busy for a while in the main reception/foyer area, but after that it was fine. I had decent meal in the restaurant and then a very comfortable and restful nights sleep.

The bedroom was spacious, comfortable and pleasant. Some parts of the hotel weren't perhaps the most modern and contemporary, but it was all in good order and clean.

Breakfast was nothing special and a buffet style, but nice and there was plenty of it.

As long as you can get a room at the right price, then I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed for one night whilst visiting the NEC, the hotel is well situated and easy to find. The room was basic but clean, had everything we required, bathroom was also very clean and well appointed, most of all the bed was very comfortable.
On the night we stayed there was also a coach party booked in - the hotel was very busy but service never suffered, staff were always friendly and polite.
We went in to Burton on Trent for our evening meal, so cannot comment on the restaurant - however breakfast was more than sufficient - self service - plentiful, and well cooked
We paid a ridiculously low £49.00 for Double room B&B - hotel exceeded expectations

Booked one night stay for my brothers big birthday bash, once checked in found out that other family members had secured a room discount. I had booked via the web, on checking out asked if I also could have a discount, many many explanations as to why I couldnt have one, felt this was very unfair as my room was nearly double the discounted price and to add insult to injury on entering the bathroom I was faced with one very long brown hair in the handbasin, and two curly unmentionable shorter hairs on the vainty unit aghhhh! also a miserly amount of toiletries. Breakfast was like a first day at the sales all self service, not a pot of tea or coffee to be seen even the hot/warm water was in flasks. Will not stay at this chain again.
