Stayed one night on business, and didn't eat in the evening so cannot comment on their evening food offer. Generally a good impression on entering, and reception was quick and efficent. The room was fine, reasonably spacious, and had a decent sized en-suite. The bed was comfy, and it was quiet. A good nights sleep was had. But the carpets were terrible. As soon as you start to walk down the corridor towards your room you cannot help but notice the marked, stained, generally shabby carpet,(although not threadbare), and in my room it was just as bad. It was soft enough walking on it, it was just stained.
The breakfast offer was quite good - buffet style help yourself.. Cereals, fruits, toast, tea & coffee, and Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, tomatoes, mushrooms and baked beans. Unfortunatly the "orange juice" tasted like orange squash. I'v just returned from Spain, and the orange juice there is superb and always fresh, so I suppose I've been spoilt, but it really wasn't good.
