“Wonderful break”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

We have just returned home from a 3 day break at the Fell. We were on a special deal which was amazing value. Our room was exceptional, with an iconic view from the window over the village of Burnsall. I have seen this view so many times on Yorkshire calendars.
We tended to eat from the bar menu which again was excellent value. The fish and chips were so good, I had them 2 nights running! Beautifully cooked breakfasts. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
Staying at the Fell allows you to use the spa facilities at the sister hotel at Bolton bridge. Also, free car parking at sites on the Devonshire estate such as the Cavendish pavilion.
We have stayed at the Fell 3 or 4 times now and have never been disappointed.

Room Tip: If you can afford it, upgrade to a room with a river view.

“Fantastic location”

Enjoyed a fabulous 2 night break at the Devonshire Fell. Loved the colourful contemporary decor and the relaxed ambience. We ate a la carte one night and chose from the bar menu on our 2nd night. Food was excellent - very high standard. Service was attentive, but not overpowering and staff very friendly and helpful. One of the most comfortable beds we have slept in too! Location is the best - close to Grassington and Bolton Abbey with lovely, scenic river walks along the river Wharfe. We will return.

“Amazing Wedding Venue, excellent service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

I had my wedding reception at The Devonshire Fell in December. It was an amazing venue and nothing was too much trouble, both the wedding planner, Christine, and manager made the whole event run seamlessly. Having the whole hotel made the event extra special as only our friends and family were there. The food was delicious and all dietary requirements were catered for. The views were amazing and at Christmas the venue was cosy and welcoming. The rooms were very comfortable and all the guests had a wonderful time!
We hope to go back and celebrate an anniversary there to re-live the ambience and quality service!
A day we'll never forget!

Room Tip: All the rooms were comfortable and had amazing views!

“Luxury accommodation in a scenic setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

We were delighted with the room we were given, on the top floor overlooking the village and river. Very spacious and recently renovated, with 2 bathrooms and a seperate seating area and a large flat screen TV. The hotel is being renovated so the first floor accommodation is not available at the moment but there was no work being carried out on the weekend of our stay so there was no disturbance to our peaceful stay. The staff were very friendly - breakfast was good and the bar well stocked.

Room Tip: At the moment room 11 is the best room, but four rooms on the first floor are unavailable at the mom...

“Lovely location, great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 December 2011

We recently stayed for two nights at this hotel and had a great time- the location is very scenic, the food (breakfast and dinner) was lovely. The breakfast was plentiful with a good selection and the carvery dinner was very good value. The only criticism I would have would be that our room was a bit tired (room 6) and felt as if it needed a lick of paint but this didn't have any impact on our enjoyment.

We also used the spa at the sister hotel, the Devonshire Arms, which was great.
