Our family spent 3 wonderful nights with Graham and Caroline in their beautiful Bed & Breakfast. I found their site while browsing the internet for lodgings in the area. It seemed too good to be true, but it was all we anticipated and far more. There were 5 of us, 2 adult children and the parents. We knew we'd made a good choice when Graham and Caroline welcomed us at the door, and from there they were not only the consummate host and hostess, but they became friends. The physical surroundings were wonderful - peaceful countryside and wonderful accomodations - spacious and well-appointed bedrooms, comfortable beds, and huge bathrooms - quite a contrast to the usual small European hotel rooms. We could have had complete privacy, as we had our own wing of their renovated farmhouse - a family room with a bar and pool table, kitchenette where we could help ourselves, and a lovely dining room. But the charm of this bed & breakfast were Graham and Caroline and their wonderful personalities. Their location is central to the sights of Normandy - we enjoyed Mont St. Michel, the Isle of Jersey, and of course the D-Day beaches. Graham and Caroline had maps and brochures for every possible attraction. How lovely it was to return at night and be greeted by our new friends. We so enjoyed sharing our adventures over beer and liqueurs. In the morning the table was set with still-warm croissants from the bakery, butter, fresh fruit, jam, yogurt, juice, and a full pot of delicious coffee and water ready for tea. Bidding farewell on our last morning was very difficult. We will definitely return when next in the area and will highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone traveling to Normandy. .
