I booked my husband to stay here on the 28th September as he was working in the area for 2 days. When he got to where he was working he was worried as they had heard some bad reports about the Parkhouse Motel, however it could not have been further from the truth. The room was spotless and the hotel went out of their way to make sure that he had every thing he needed for his stay. My husband works away every week and this is one of the best places he has every stayed for service and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

I stayed here for a week on a very hard course nearby and was treated like family. I never go away on my own and was very nervous about it. The food was really good and the waitress was lovely. The room was very clean and warm and homely. I was very pleased with the whole package. Thankyou.

Stayed here for two nights not in the main building but in the outdoor chalet type room.
Very dated but clean.
Shower was poor
The staff are very friendly and helpful

Have no complaints at all about the location or the standard of the rooms at this motel. We had a family room which was nice and clean and well set out
Nice little pub just down the road which had lovely meals and was close to some major tourist attractions.
Breakfast in the morning was also very good.
My elderly father left his camera bag behind and the wonderful staff very kindly sent it back to us in Australia without hesitation.
