We needed to find a stopover for a long drive from Calais to Sassnitz and did not wish to use motorway accommodation. Persuaded by the other review we thought that we would try this place and were so glad we did.
It is very convenient for the motorway but is a very quiet little village. It has been in the same family for five generations and is obviously 'loved'.
The room was very comfortable with every amenity and the biggest bed we have ever seen. The whole place was very clean and we enjoyed a very good evening meal from a wide choice on the menu. The breakfast buffet was very good too.

We stayed at Rohrs Gastholf for 4 nights and received a warm & comfortable welcome. The rooms were immaculate and one floor is completely non-smoking. The bar and restaurant provide a good variety of food & beverage. Staff were super! They accommodated all inquiries & requests and even arranged flowers to be delivered to the bride's room as a surprise.

The community is especially charming, a short walk from the hotel. The hotel is located on the edge of the village and we walked the dog along beautiful fields of ripening grain. This place is convenient for Bremen and Hamburg, a quiet retreat off the motorway.
